SOTD is a couple of gavs in silvery grey. I'm not completely satisfied with this pairing: Les Confessions is a shiny silver while the snowflake scarf is matte silver and taupe. I'll have to find them better partners (any excuse to buy another scarf)

Ask away, Karenska. I am quite uninhibited about mixing silk twill formats and will pair a 90 or a 70 with a gav, or wear two twillies, gavs or 70s.
The snowflake scarf is folded loosely into a strip using the basic bias fold. Les Confessions is simply folded along the diagonal into a triangle. I knot them together at a corner. The knot goes to the back of the neck, and the two scarves loop around each other in front, then the loose ends are knotted behind the neck. Does that make sense?
