And my only other winter-themed silk scarf, a lovely Echo rectangle. This scarf is so pretty and the silk is very soft and does not seem to wrinkle. I wear it on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, although now that I own the gorgeous L’Hiver, there’s some competition now.

But I’m a believer that some of my less xmas theme scarves feel just fine for the winter especially if paired with metallics. My white Lafemme is such a special winter themed design. Fabulous new additions! Yes- we are twins and also fifi’s DD has one (of course mama can borrow!) and I believe Notorious Pink also has this CW.

“happy winter/snow scarves” rare in current collex—maybe because I shoveled 52 vertical inches of snow my last Michigan winter?

The circling religious do look happy in Prieres au Vent, however scowling the temples in snow above; maybe they also hate shoveling the white stuff.

Competing drivers in L’Hiver en Poste aka Bull & Mouth (1975) look like maybe having fun....but not the passengers, ya know if you’ve ever ridden in a real stagecoach. Fond of recalling @Jahna earlier explaining matte blanc as technique of snow falling on here and gathering on liveryman’s coat.

Fantastic color on this!

I’ve been saving my holiday pièce de resistance for the end of the week... A few months ago, I finally got my much coveted Noel au 24 Faubourg in red. I owned the lovely pink CW, but really wanted either a red, blue or black CW. So, here it is and it is getting plenty of wear already. The top knot was from today, and the bottom one from the weekend after Thanksgiving, but I waited to share it this week. Following it, are pics of my pink CW

Woefully off topic and hoping for forgiveness here among friends - bursting with joy - finally in the Balade En Berline marble club! According to the SA it was the last to be had in London - been anxious if the white would be glaringly snowy white, however it was soft and creamy, which suits me much better - now trying to wind down
