I’ve found that L’Arbre shows totally different colors when you bias fold using the other two ends. Love it when a scarf does this for you. Double for your money almost!

Thank you! I do like this CW, but am on the lookout for the gray one - it is a cool beauty. I haven’t seen one in a while - but with my upcoming Ice Queen week, it would be perfect. Or the beautiful Winter’s Walk. :heart:

Great choices! Twins on the Arbre du vent, and I came so close to getting that JQ - debated between that and the Parures du Samourais- ended up with the Samourais, but loved the JQ as well!

My first cashmere was also a Nomura. Unlike Dragon Flash and Flamboyant Web, it is in a very neutral oatmeal, but the deadly snakes twining and slithering more than make up for the "safe" cw.

My 4th Nomura cashmere is also in a neutral cw, not through choice, but it was the only cw that this was produced in. CLF in khaki, worn plain and with the pattern showing.

I agree with you about CW on this one,
There are certain designs that just work better in specific CWs, and this is the case with FdH... I love it in this blue and also in a red I once saw... Christmasy colors

Oh, I am in love with this shawl... I own the same CW in a 90... It was one of my first purchases when I began to seriously collect H and remained one of my favs... So glad I found it in this format, even though I felt slightly guilty for “sort of” duplicating

Thanks, Fifi. The red and green Vie du Grand Nord is one of those weird, wonderful H color combinations, very clear and light.
