AWESOME comes close to describing today’s Scarf Mail, but barely: Marine Naive aka Henry F. Smith Sailor in CSGM. Fewer words, more photos!

That is awesome!
I remember the sleuthing that went on for that scarf - so cool to know he was a real person!

Ooooo - I like the idea of less fabric but still warm and snuggly…

Beee-yu-ti-ful!
And it always makes me smile to know you wear these in the woods walking with your dog.

I swear Nd'A is absolutely perfect in this format - i love it!

Gorgeous CW!

Thanks for all the likes everyone! :hugs:

Thank you! I still walk in the woods in silk, but the husky is presently in Utah!

After wearing my Act 3 CSGM for four days straight, I pulled out my Xmas scarves today. Wearing Neige d’antan as shown in the first pic. Twins with FiFi. The other shots are archive pix showing an alternate way to wear it.View attachment 4607449 View attachment 4607450 View attachment 4607451
Love the little snowman!

Lovely!!

Keeping it cozy on a chilly day with A Travers Champs. No yellow in this scarf but it feels sunshine-y to me.

The first time I layed eyes on it I knew it would tie beautifully... and, I prefer it as a CSGM... This red CW is the best!

Congrats on the Zenobia.. and that blue fleurs d’hiver! Both so beautiful!
Thank you so much!

Zenobie stunning in that CW & format! And you look great in Denim!
Aaaah! Thank you very kindly!

I love your Fleurs d'Hiver from the first time you showed it. Wishlisted it, but the only one I found was in yellow and brown, both colours which I look bad in. So I'll just continue admiring you
I agree with you about CW on this one,
There are certain designs that just work better in specific CWs, and this is the case with FdH... I love it in this blue and also in a red I once saw... Christmasy colors

I love the colors in your Zenobie!
Me too... I am in love... Thanks so much!

I find 140 is my best last option for coverup head, neck to shoulder. Last year when I was in Las Vegas, I underestimated the weather. It was freezing at night so my 140 was a charm to keep me warm. But this year won’t let that happen. I will bundle up like ”Red riding hood.” ( I need to dye my Shawl )
The Game 100 is my best friend, it goes with me every where, easy to fit in a small dust bag and tuck-in a corner of my bag. Use as Emergency need to cover....in the Mall.
Last but not least, Tout en Carre Losange Medium model instantly dresses up my regular basis, and keep my neck warm during the day while I don't have to put on many layers.
I always pair them with the 90 or 45 silk inside to avoid itching ( my skin is super sensitive.)
The Game is the most amazing design! I bet that you must get a lot of comments and compliments on it... Looks amazing on you tied that way... So uber cozy!

Some very cozy Parures de Samourais
OMG you have THREE!! I am partial to the lavender... although all are showstoppers

I wore my rouge Mythiques Phoenix tonight to a Christmas cookie exchange. This cw feels very festive.

My fuchsia cw is very electric and warm..
That MP is perfect for the season! They are both gorgeous... You can’t go wrong with this design

Gorgeous! Love that fleurs d'hiver!
Thanks so much!

Those bold colors just suit you perfectly!

You’ve tied this so cozy & snug it seems in ideal harmony with you

What a lovely smile you have (the scarf is lovely too)

That first one knocks my socks off!! :panic:
Fouets et Badines en Patch ?

Thanks for the tip- gotta check that out

Enamored with your Fleurs d’Hiver. “I don’t need another winter themed scarf, I don’t need another winter themed scarf”
Thanks so much! And, FdH is so lovely to wear at this time of year!

Love your Folklore!

Haha! Both cws ARE spectacular! It’s such a luscious scarf.

Glorious- those pink edges are fab! So glad to see you rocking the CSGM- they suit you!

Gorgeous! I’ve taken to doing the same thing!

Super fabulous picks!
Oh, I am in love with this shawl... I own the same CW in a 90... It was one of my first purchases when I began to seriously collect H and remained one of my favs... So glad I found it in this format, even though I felt slightly guilty for “sort of” duplicating

I totally agree! I was unsure about this format but it's so pratical.

The Zouaves et Dragons is on my wishlist, in the same CW you chose.
The ZeD is gorgeous... beautiful CW and so stylishly put together

I love your Zénobie!
Thanks much!

Sharing some archive pics of my 3 CSGMs. I like this format a lot and they definitely are so soft and cozy. But I have to be judicious in purchasing because of the high price, and I often wish that the format was rectangular rather than square (less material to wrangle...)
I'm sharing my Faubourg Rainbow, my H-Passant, and three pics of my Rose pour Alma.
What great choices! Very varied and all amazing

Thank you moma!

Thank you fifi!

OMG that Fleurs d'hiver, so beautiful!
Thanks so much!

Nice icy CW of this Fleurs d'hiver - also what a sweet design. Although deer are a nuisance IRL, they look cute here with sprouting antlers!
Thank you! These have got to be THE cutest prancing reindeer

Some winter life on La Vie du Grand Nord. Yesterday I wore the cranberry/bordeaux CW.View attachment 4607266 View attachment 4607267

You are so lucky to own these beauties to wear at this time of year!

Half my tiny pile of cashmere are scarves designed by Daisuke Nomura. What can I say? I love his edgy designs and his subject matter appeals to the fantasy horror in my soul.
SOTD are his video-game-inspired scarves: Dragon Flash and Flamboyant Web. Both in delectable red. Dragon Flash is in true cherry while Flamboyant Web is a deeper shade of crimson. They go well together.

The most striking statement pieces! You must get stopped in the street wearing these! And, a reminder that I need a red shawl!

Twins again, dear Cookie, on the Neige - isn’t it just great?
:hugs:Yes! I'm always so pleased to hear we are twins on so many scarves! :hugs:
(you know - great minds and all that!)
Thank you! I still walk in the woods in silk, but the husky is presently in Utah!
Whaaaa? Why's the husky in Utah!!
omg - I'd miss my Coco so much!
Beautiful!

Love these! I can’t believe I do not own this design yet. I admire it every time I see it but have yet to find one.
:hugs:
Cuddled up and warm in some Blue CSGMs

Tyger Tyger, Jaguar Quetzal, and L’Arbre du Vent
Okay - STAAAPP!!
I'm SO TEMPTED!! I l.o.v.e L'Arbre du Vent!! :panic:
