I got a warm necklace for my morning walk today![]()
Oh gosh - that pareo is amazing! So vibrant!
(you know I'm a big fan of the moussies!)
Lovely color of blue! I'll bet it looks great with your eyes!
Love it with your striped sweater!
One must do what one must do! Smashing look!
Casual work Fridays feel a little more thrilling with my quad bayadere triangle.

Wearing Vinci today - but most often I just throw these on and go. A loose bias fold (like I fold it while holding it so it’s not a formal fold) and then either just around my neck or twice, sometimes knotted, most times (k)not.

Beautiful Moussies! That Axis MundiI wear moussies a lot of the year and adjust the way I tie them to fit the season and temperature outside. That's the magic of the large formats for me.
When it is warm (like yesterday) - tank tops and nothing too close to the neck.

And then today....yes, 40 degree temperature difference....

And wrapped close for cool weather:

I do the same with a lot of the large formats. Here's a cotton pareo (Flamingo Party) worn in the summer as a light drape for when I go in to a cold building:

And then bundled up recently for cold weather. An equally useful format where I live:

Thank you eagle! No, it stayed on fine. I laid the scarf out, folded in one corner to make a straight edge then put it over my head with that edge around the base of my head ( so you have a big triangular corner flapping over your face!). I then tried the two outside corners on top of my head and pulled the flappy triangle back over. This bit is now exposing its reverse side so simply tie another knot, pull the flap back over so you are showing the right side, arrange it over the top knot and tuck under above your forehead. Finally, tuck in any loose bits from the knot into the sides. How did you do the turban of the last shot? Very cute. Doesn't a silk scarf slide off your head? It's my experience they do so I never got very far with a turban. . .

wonderful!Scarf mail! I know @xincinsin has the same CW of this one. It's a lovely neutral. I'm looking forward to seeing its greens, blues and greys in the daylight. The hem is slightly flattened but given it's 53 years old I'm not going to complain. I think this will be perfect for when I want my scarf to not be centre-stage.
