Omg I love this! Thank you for posting. Does anyone know how It compare to a Constance, Roulis or even a mini Lindy? I’m looking for a shoulder bag. Thank you!

Wow, just at the pre-tax level that's almost 30% more expensive than the EU price of 3950 EUR. Is the mark-up on bags always that much?

I find the USD prices are at least ~20% more expensive than EUR prices... sometimes can get close to 40% You can look at prices on the US H.com versus European H.com to see the price differentials. But a good excuse for a European vacation maybe?

I have tried all three @jyyanks . IMO Saut is more casual than Constance. i have three mini roulises and they are wonderful too, can be used casually or more dressy, depending upon color and leather, but the Saut is definitley an everyday grab and go, especially weekend errands, etc. i tried the mini Lindy and though very cute, the Saut is a bit more streamlined to the body and is self organizing. I felt the mini Lindy was a tighter fit for cellphone, sunnies, keys and small wallet or calvi. Also the mini lindy has the side handles that gave me pause too as to comfort in carrying crossbody. I hope this helps.

Thank you so much!!! This is so incredibly helpful. I’ve been looking for a casual shoulder bag. I had a vintage Constance that I sold because it was too small. The roulis is very nice but I’ve been waffling because it’s almost too stiff/formal and I have a Chanel and Dior that have similar purposes. The Saut seems to fit the bill and the price point is right. Thank you so much!

Where I live is VERY casual (and I am a bit of homebody who isn't dressing way up regularly?) so my Chanel bags only leave the house a few times a year. I was drooling after the Roulis for awhile but my SA actually talked me out of it; she pointed out it's actually too short to be a comfortable crossbody everyday bag. The Saut was love at first try on for my lifestyle. I had the same concerns about the mini-Lindy that @lanit cited since, for this every day use case I was seeking, comfort is key and Evelyne has been the queen of comfort so I was glad to find something fun like the Saut that evoked similar comfort.

I am not a heavy poster (more of a lurker) but I have been using heavily this since I picked it up last weekend and have been in love. Additionally this is a fairly new bag I haven't seen much about on the forums so far and wanted to do some sharing as I feel like it could be very usable and functional for folks who might have similar preferences as me.

A bit about me: Day to day, I prefer an easy to access crossbody for an active lifestyle and my Evelyne has been my day to day go to for several years now.

I'm loving the Saut Hermes 25 because:
  1. It's easy to access but not so huge you are rummaging around.
  2. Holds the essentials and then some (Without stuffing I've gotten my my bose headset, tissues, kindle, card holder, two cell phones, keys in all at once)
  3. The strap is comfortable and adjustable for crossbody and shoulder bag wear (I'm 5'3)
  4. Great for walking - One of the reasons I use my Evelyne so much is that I do a ton of walking and this is very comfortable for that too
  5. Has a hinged flap for a little added security although so far I haven't used it that way so far - The hinge makes it optional but not required.
Three ways you can wear it: (1. pocket out, 2. flap open and out, 3. flap closed)

Side and internal shots (note that the latch is also on the hinge mechanism):

Anyway thanks for letting me share my enthusiasm! Also loving the deep blue! (I saw it in black, red, gris perle and understand it also comes in barenia fauborg but they didn't have that one).
Thanks for sharing the details. This style is definitely under the radar and needs more attention.

Wonderful review- I could not agree more. When I saw this bag months ago ( I think on the runway thread) I asked my wonderful SA to stalk it for me. We named it the "secret subway flap" bag! She just found it for me in the BF, which what I was waiting for. I truly love it. It has fit into my bag rotation perfectly.
@StaceyLyn - if possible, could you post a picture of the ebene please? When looking at it with my SA, it appeared the ebene came with 2 options for the colors on the hinge. I remember one was also ebene alternating with a creme, but cannot remember the other ( although I could easily be wrong). Thanks

Thank you so much!!! I've been looking for an every day shoulder/cross bag that isn't too large or too small. I too have an Evelyne but wanted something comfortable and different that could fit my casual lifestyle. Seems like the Saut is it!! Can't wait to see it in person.

Here are A few pics of my new Ebene Saut: Closed from front, open, and open from back. The cross bar is Noir and Noisette. I really love this bag. Great casual, day bag.
