Sauge vs Etoupe? Color comparison?

I got offered a b30 sauge, depending on the lighting the bag can look really green (close to pastel dull green). Since I am not a big fan of green, I did pass on that, did not regret a bit. Would rather wait for a neutral color instead.

Sauge is quite a bit lighter than Etoupe and definitely green- it is aptly named.
It is a lovely neutral, though not as versatile as etoupe. I would have gone for the Evelyne, except it was a GM and I think lighter colors work better in a PM Evelyne. It's clearly different enough in color and tone to justify having both.

I'm right there with you on liking light or pop colors in smaller bags. They tend to look bigger than they are. [emoji5]️

Hi Madison! There is always sooo much to learn! I thought I knew quite a bit, but then I made a mistake in the H belt thread that I feel so embarrassed about! [emoji15] I don't like to give assistance unless I'm 100% sure, but I miss read her post. I'm so glad a couple people came quick behind me to correct my mistake! #Facepalm

I love that H has soooo many colors! Something for everyone! I don't have anything in green yet (except SGLs), but love it!

I hope you get what your looking for soon!

Thank you for sharing the info and photos! I always love the Hermes greens and love this new color :) I have 2 bags in etoupe already, one garden party and one Jige, but I would definitely consider getting something in Sauge with PHW.

I've noticed that this color seems to be quite polarizing! Some love it and some "hate" it.

I did finally got to go see it yesterday and I really like it for a green leaning neutral!
Do you know what I forgot to do? Take a pic with Etoupe!!! Grrrrr!!!! I left the store, got a mile down the road and then remembered! Ugh! [emoji15]

But if anyone else is ever curious as to the difference, the first pic of the picotins is pretty accurate in sunlight and the second pic is what I saw under the dim H lights. [emoji4]

I can't wait to see this color. I'll probably love it as I'm not a fan of etoupe at all (too brown) and prefer neutrals that lean towards gray/green. The Evelyne in a previous post is beautiful! It does remind me of a gris t with a green undertone.
