No, mine was supple. At the time, there were two with a difference of $100. I surmise the $2,050 item is the grain and the $2,150 is the supple. This is similar to how Saint Laurent prices the items - grain is $2,950 and supple is $3,050.

That’s exactly how I felt. The SaksOff5th deal is nearly a $1000 savings, if supple. This is not a bag for me to throw around so I’m very okay with ‘babying’ it. I’m not wearing it to the supermarket or theme parks.

No, the supple envelope is calfskin. It’s more durable than lamb skin but less than grain de poudre.
When I spoke to a SA, he explained that the supple leather will wear and crease as it ages like a leather jacket. It is their policy that no conditioner or product should be applied. I call baloney and plan to dust while annually apply a leather conditioner…unless I’m caught in the rain.

Seems to happen to some of the gift card events where YSL is initially included but then removed.Did you get it to work?
The YSL bags are included in the event but my question is if the gift card that we get later can be used on YSL or other luxury brands. I checked and for a large envelope bag, I can get a 900 dollars gift card. I just want to make sure if I can use the 900 gc to get something else like I plan on getting YSL shoes later on.Looks like they are no longer included in the event

Not sure what it works on but I assume it should work on YSL if it’s like a normal gift card.
When you apply the code, do you see any kind of indication that the gift card is added? When I tried the code, it doesn’t say there’s a promotional gift card added to the cart (like how Neiman Marcus usually indicates it)
