Oh what color? I LOVE the small Kate. I would take one in each color if I could lol. They showed me the new taupe color in store today and it looked so nice.
I love the Kate too! I want to get the black small with silver hardware but I cannot decide if I'm getting the tassel or non-tassel version.
My advice is get it now. Looking at the patterns, I think this increase is probably coming sometime in October or November.
It will probably start out like we see now; some sites will increase prices first and others will have old pricing for a bit.
Some of the prices are getting ridiculous at this point, but still, if we compare some of these pieces with other designer brands, they are still "worth it," in my opinion.
But they won't be anymore if prices keep going up, so we better get some of the pieces we want now before it's too late.
I waited too long to get the Mini Lou and now I'm paying almost $1,600 for a very mini, casual bag but when compared to the new Gucci, Balenciaga, Chloe and Givenchy (let's not even mention Chanel and LV) prices, it is still a good price point for the level of versatility and luxury you get for this bag, in my opinion.
How do you plan to wear it?
I personally do not care to spend extra $ on the tassel version as I don't really find it attractive on the bag anyway. I feel it's perfect without it and the logo stands out. No tassel also makes it more appropriate for casual use.
I think the gold is beautiful without the tassel, but with the silver GDP, it kinda looks like my sunset with silver hardware. That's why I'm thinking of getting the tassel option.
I agree. I cannot believe how much the Loulou and Sunset cost now.
Even with the last price increase, I balked. I should've gotten the Kate before!
Just can't decide between the tassel or no tassel option. I think gold is very beautiful but I won't use it that much because I'm more into a silver hardware. With shw, the croc with tassel is beautiful but even more expensive! I can't decide among GDP tassel, GDP no tassel and croc with tassel!

I'm not a huge fan of the tassel in the Kate. I like the tassel idea but on a more casual style like the Mini Lou (or other styles like the Gucci Soho Disco). But even with the Mini Lou, I'd prefer for the tassel to be removable so we can have the option of dressing the bag up or down.
Tassels are flirty, boho and cool, but they do lower the level of elegance and versatility of the bag when not removable.
I'm also wary about the placement of the tassel, because it sometimes interferes with the opening of the bag and can become very annoying and cumbersome too.
Yeah, same. I'm concerned I'd break it too, given how clumsy I am!
Just a heads up that the exchange rate with the GBP is great right now if you’re shopping in USD- I just got a YSL puffer for $2364 from Selfridges online (including tax, duties, shipping). On the YSL site it’s $2850.
Neiman Marcus app has Toy Loulous for $1590 in several colors. Not sure if the site has this too.

Vitkac has the Large College for $2275 including tax, duties, and shipping. That's $850 less than the US price + tax. I got my Medium Puffer from Vitkac and it was a great experience, once I found a credit card that would work with their new two-factor authentication that's required in Europe. It arrived in AZ from Poland in like three days.
FWRD has a "secret sale" for some items--20% off select bags and 30% off other select items. You need to be logged into your account and add the item to cart to see the discount. If you use Rakuten/ShopStyle they have 10% cash back. And, on top of that if you have an American Express credit card you can check your My Offers tab to see if they have a FWRD offer--I had an offer for $75 if $375 was spent. If you are looking at an older pre-last price increase item that is eligible it can be a nice discount. A lot of bags aren't eligible but there are some great little gems! (I'm not sure if new members will be able to see the sale but first time purchasers can use the FWRD App for 10% off instead of maybe ShopStyle as some of their items do not appear on ShopStyle. App is Apple only last I checked.)

I'm happy to say the Raktuken/ShopStyle cash back seems to have worked with an item I purchased at FWRD and not showing on ShopStyle. (I used the ShopStyle link to add a FWRD item to cart, it took me to FWRD where I added the one I wanted and removed the other one.)
