I ordered a YSL bag from Farfetch right before the price increase. It came from the YSL store in NY and it looked like it was either worn and returned, or like it was a display piece. All of the corners, including the flap, had noticeable wear marks, there were marks on the bottom, and the hardware was scratched. Needless to say, I was super disappointed. I have a larger version of the same bag and it was wrapped in protective foam when I purchased it. This one was just loose in a dust bag. Farfetch wouldn’t let me reorder another one for the same price, so I just sent it back. I’m really going to think twice about reordering from them in the future. I’ve had ok experiences with them in the past, but I’ve also received items that were just not in good condition. I wonder if some of these boutiques use Farfetch to offload merch that they can’t move in their brick and mortar stores. The NY YSL store should be ashamed for selling that bag in the first place.
