Unless things have changed (I'm boycotting NM right now, but that's another story), NM emails the gift card, whereas Saks sends it with the item you ordered. NM gift cards usually take a looong time to get to you. So long that sometimes you have forgotten about it by the time you receive it.

I bought some items a few months ago (late summer) during a GC event at NM and got the GC within the stated 6-8 weeks and even used it already on another order. I haven't had any issues with their GCs.

Would love to hear your story! Thank you! I am thinking of gettint the Kate bag before YSL stops being part of the promotions in the future. I really hope this wont be the case! :-O

yea im seeing the same thing, but I noticed the Saks website has only pre-orders so maybe the price reflects the new increase when these bags become available, whereas the ysl website has current offerings at the current price. Im not sure tho, that's just what ive noticed but I do see the difference your seeing.

edit to add, I am seeing they have the toy loulou for 100 more and that's not a pre-order so IDK, that throws off my pre-order theory.

Whenever this happens it means a price increase is on the horizon. Give it a week or two and the new prices will be reflected everywhere, including the YSL website. That puts the toy loulou at $1590, the mini Lou camera at 1490, and small puffer at 2490. Yikes.

yes that sounds like an amazing deal! congrats! I feel like the recent price increases are starting to push me out of the market for both YSL and LV. I was thinking of rotating for something new but I will prob just hold on to what I have and be happy that I bought at insanely lower prices just a short while ago
