Chaseaime just posted on Instagram that she heard Saint Laurent isn’t going to be doing sales any longer. Can anyone confirm?
I just read the same thing on Facebook. Someone said their SA said it. Apparently, they are no longer doing sales because they are getting the Chanel customers due to the frequent price increases.
I hope it isn’t true.

Honestly, until they close their outlet stores, quitting sales isn't going to do much for them or their brand...
Regarding Chanel, isn't hard to understand why customers are making the move... YSL has better quality for a third of the cost of many Chanel bags. I just hope YSL understands why customers are making the move and doesn't follow Chanel's footsteps.
In Canada, earlier this year the boutiques only did VIP invite only sale. I was just told by my SA they will not host any sales for fall. But I do wonder what does that mean for outlets. SSENSE had to also make their last YSL sale private but recently many scored marked down prices which were public.
When they ran the last sale a few months ago, the SA at a standalone store (NYC) told me that it was invite only because too many people knew about it. She said they were trying to figure out how to do the sales moving forward, including possibly just getting rid of them 
Correct, I just chatted with a sales assoc online and specifically asked about this. They confirmed you can use it at leased boutiques.
I saw that there is a ysl employee sale ( i think in france ) and there are a lot of things!

Much like the SAKS gift card promo, Neiman Marcus is doing one. It works out to be a better deal if you're only spending $1000-1999 but not as good as the Saks deal if you're spending $2000 or more.
Does that mean Saks and Neimans may not do the 50 off every 200 spent up to 500 dollars off for YSL during black friday? If so, that would be a bummer. I've been waiting a long time for that sale.
When do the NM GCs get delivered? Has anyone gotten the NM GC in a timely manner after buying a YSL bag?
I tried getting through the Saks promo but had horrible experience. I tried checking out after 6 pm on 10/22 (last day of the promo). Amount was more than 2000 and I was getting only 200 dollars. I called/contacted CS three times and was told the third time that the gift card promo ended at 6 pm EST on 10/22. It seems it is modifiable by the company and they change the conditions any time. I was so annoyed! Has anyone experienced it?

I have seen NM doing this event a lot more than Saks. Saks doesnt so it as often. I believe this was the best promo that they had and it happens very few times in a year. It is quite random but usually occurs during the holiday season and then the spring.
I heard NM is going bankrupt which is why they keep having this promo event. Correct me if I am wrong.
