There is an upcoming 12 month MPA on 3/12 (not storewide). Presale starts 3/9. This event coincides with a gift card event with a top gift card of $700 with a spend of $3000+.

Any triple points coming along with that or near that time?

Yes. The MPA is 6 months all the time. There are 12 month promotions and lower minimums ($1000) and storewide events throughout the year.

It all depends on your priorities. If the bag you want is available, then get it. If I were shopping for Chanel, I would do the MPA and triple points. That way it is interest free and I get money back that I can redeem on something else at anytime. But it all comes down to what you are buying. If you are platinum/diamond level card holder, you get 18% back on triple points.

Thx for your reply. I'm new to Saks so I'd be at the lowest point level. If, at this time, I can get something at the $2500-ish price point to get the 30,000 bonus points, that'd be better than triple points, correct?

Gosh I wish the timing is better. I am waiting for the chevron flaps and the bonus points end 3/7. Triple is end or 3rd week of this month. I wish I could do something to get these bonus points or triple points. sigh
