Do you mean a regular MasterCard or Saks MasterCard? If you use your Saks mc it doesn't charge your mc it using the Saks store credit which the number is on the back of your Saks mc.

Guess I don't quite understand. When using the saks MC at saks am I actually using the same line of credit as my non-mc saks first card? Something weird happened today when I used my saks MC in store. They said it rang up as going on an MPA even though I have never applied for one. Very weird.

I'm not sure if this would help, but I applied for saks cc and my limit was not as high as I anticipated. But when I applied for MPA it was about 4x higher. I have a pretty good credit score.

Yes-your Saks MasterCard is both your store card and MasterCard in one. On the back you will see your Saks card number. You get 2 separate bills one MasterCard and one Saks store. I would call credit services about the Mpa because that is a number that there is no card issued for. When u use a Mpa they call credit for the number or in my case my Saks personal shopper has it in my profile.your Saks card is used for Saks purchases with a separate credit line and your MasterCard is used for out of Saks purchases with its own credit line. Hope this helps! But definitely call credit about Mpa

I got a credit card today for 4k, but my sa told me that I could increase it anytime if I want it. Even if the bag is 6-8-10k. Anyway, I got this bag today with 10% discount my first one

It probably wasn't going on the MPA. I am a SA and when I first started we were having a storewide MPA event, like the that ended last night, and everything had MPA next to the item. It means it is MPA eligible. If you didn't have a MPA, don't worry about it.

last year they ran an insane amount of mpas, almost monthly to sometimes bi monthly. they have definitely cut down the events. i know they had one last April and then again before mothers day. i heard there's a triple event this month perhaps they'll be an mpa with it too!

No. But you could spend $3000 on something else, get the $700 gift card, and then use it towards the Chanel on the MPA.
