I live near Seattle like Pursegrrl and we don't have either Saks or Neiman Marcus (though we will have Neiman Marcus in the future which I am looking forward to but I think it will be a couple of years). I have been in both stores while traveling and find them both equally nice.

Purchasing on-line I use both since Neiman Marcus takes Visa/Mastercard on-line, it just depends on the price and the brand that I am looking for. Peggy

I have never been in an actual Saks or Neiman's either. Wisconsin doesn't have them. In truth, Wisconsin doesn't have a damn thing in terms of high end shopping. :cry: I have bought from Saks online. The do seem to have better sales than Neiman's website. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for. The only place that that I really tend to go nuts at is Eluxury.

I used to always shop NM, but then Saks started getting its act together, and since then, I've been shopping Saks a lot more (online I mean). Plus Saks usually does have bigger sales/discounts plus they always have a 10% off code and I get free shipping with Saks First :).
