So just an Update:
MyTheresa took my bag back and told me it’s defective. They asked me if I want an refund or repair. But they didn’t know how long the repair would take also bc corona etc. So I told them I will take the refund and I got all my money back. Very good costumer service! Idk if I will ever get a YSL bag again?!:confused1:

At least not with these kinds of potential issues. Glazing seems to be a real problem for some luxury brands. What I do not understand is how contemporary brands such as Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Longchamp and some others do not have such problems with glazing. I have several Coach and Longchamp pieces and never a problem with glazing- thick and sturdy. This YSL looks like it is melting or deteriorating in your photos. Good luck with the repair or exchange. I do not own any YSL and this is a real turn-off.

This is true.. I just took the refund and I will get another bag from my wishlist. Usually I like to have different bags from different Designers. But after this YSL experience I am very disappointed because it’s a pretty high price point. After some years and usage normally a bag will get wear and tear but this bag was only months old and I literally wore it 2 times? And I did baby it total! Sigh.. but thank you for the reply :flowers:

I would totally be the same way. I have heard good things about some YSL items- mostly SLG's. But there is so much out there, unless it it something YSL you HTH, I would move onto another designer on your wishlist. Good fortune!

Hello everyone!

i just got my Loulou Camera bag, and I love the style and everything.
But I wore it now about 3-4 times and it’s only like 3 months old.
So I looked closely on it today and I noticed this on the strapholders.

Anyone got the same problem?
And what should I do?

I bought a Roger Vivier shoes, lost by DHL during delivery, Mytheresa had bad customer service, irresponsible by not following up the matter + being a liar when they said DHL cannot do anything, so do them. The fact that when i tried to contact DHL by myself, there was no history of complaint/investigation ever made by Mytheresa.
€440 + express Signatured international shipping cost ALL GONE FOR NOTHING!

Don’t wait until you lose your money. Better avoid them, seriously. It’s a pure experience by myself.
 
My bag is fairly new. Bought it last October and only been using it since the pandemic to run errands. It was my go to bag. I never even noticed. I was just thinking how nice it was holding up. Not.

I am so glad I found this thread. I'm going to a mall with high end stores today, and was dead set on going to YSL to purchase a Lou Camera bag as I have been dreaming about it. It would be my very first YSL bag (and first bought in a high end store). Now, I'm leaning towards the Marmont.

Even with the issues I had with mine, I was still considering another one in dark beige. I don't the issues are wide spread. I haven't seen a lot of complaints about this bag. I think I was just unlucky.
