This is what I see at Neimans and Saks and most Chanel stores in general their sales are down since these price increases. It was reported that they are down 5% in revenue, and expect luxury spending to be dropping in 2024 for a few years.
The price increase to compete with Hermes was the worst move for Chanel they have so much backed up inventory.
Well this may answer the question I had the other day. I always look at Chanel shoes in Nordstrom Bellevue Square (outside Seattle). I have bought several pair of Chanel shoes there over the years and now I could not see them. A new Chanel boutique opened in the mall but honestly it looks like just makeup from the outside, maybe they are ordering for customers now but what a disappointment.
I heard Chanel in NM Tyson’s corner is closing April 6. Does anyone know if all Chanel in dept stores will close eventually?

I’m glad to hear you had a good experience. The freestanding store in Tyson’s is expanding to include RTW. I’m excited for it. I believe Chanel owns and manages the Neiman’s location, only leases the space. Maybe that explains the closing?

However I believe the shoes are not part of chanel and are part of Nordstrom inventory.
i'm not too sure...i believe nordstrom chanel can see my profile and how many bags I purchased. So i think they can see purchase history. I would assume that the profiles are connected to the boutique. Have you called the store to confirm?
I know this post is older, but Nordstrom Bellevue stopped selling Chanel shoes. They are only sold at the Seattle location now
For another data point, my local standalone boutique was able to see my Nordstrom Portland Chanel purchase 😅
I was confused because I never got a Chanel receipt from them, just the Nordstrom one.
