I was checking their DBTY style necklaces out.... I know the colour and clarity isn't Tiffany, but what do you think?

Ross Simons used to be a very reliable company, but I feel they have gone downhill. They used to be strictly gold, platinum, or silver and now they sell vermeil and resin filled items. And lots of cz. You have to be very careful with their descriptions.

That said, the items I purchased in the past were very well-made.

The following is what it says about the specs of your diamonds, no mention of cut which would make me a little leary.
(Quantity: 10, Shape: Round, Color Grade: I-J, Clarity: I1-I2, Weight: 0.50 ct. t.w.)

My aunt ordered a DBTY necklace from them and retuned it. She found the chain to be very thin and thought it would break rather quickly.

I'm looking at this one now. Not the whitest or best clarity, but for tiny stones I'm not sure i mind? Hmmm. The Tiffany one will break the bank.

I have the Ross Simon version of the DBTY. I never wear it. The diamonds don't have the same sparkle as Tiffany's. I wish I had saved for the Tiffany DBTY.
