Rose Gold VCA Perlee vs. Tiffany T Bracelet

So I tried it on today. Here's what it looks like with my Cartier loves and JUC.

Did you also try the thinner version of this bracelet? I think that if you want to go for the Tiffany T bracelet, the thinner version might look better with your stack. Or what about the thinner Tiffany T bracelet with diamonds?

Did you like the way it looked alongside the WG Love? I'm thinking about one of the thinner Tiffany T bracelets to wear with mine.

@Rengb6 & @Chanel I didn't like the quality at all on those. Very thin and it was lopsided, I think, from being twisted to get on the wrist. It lost its shape because the two Ts didn't line up any more. For the price, it it didn't seem worth it. But just my opinion. So it was never a contender.

I love Tiffany but VCA hands down.

@LVOEletters. There is something amazing about VCA. Things keep getting added to my list! :p

So different in style, whichever you are more drawn too, both are gorgeous!

I have such an eclectic style! Wish it was easier. If I had to say, I'm classic modern, which these both fit that category!

Pick the one that makes your heart skip a beat ;). Personally, I like the VCA better, but you have to buy what you love the most and what works for you :smile1:.

Thanks for commenting @Chanel! I need to get my hands on a perlee to try....

I think the Tiffany T looks unisex. The VCA Perlee is very feminine, especially in RG. As the others have said, chose the one that makes you happy. :)

I like how I could wear the Tiffany everyday since it seems more solid than the Perlee but the Perlee is VCA and you can't go wrong with VCA! :graucho:

Thanks @Kewave!

I agree ... Particularly if you're going to stack it. Many people seem worried about the clasp on the vca, particularly if you're going to wear it often. I thought the tiffany was surprisingly soft/pretty in person as well ... That pic doesn't do it justice. One thought ...they may be different shades of rose gold, and you might have a preference for one over the other.

Yes. I am worried about the clasp on the Perlee, but I'm also worried about scratches on the Tiffany T. You'll really notice, I think. But you are right on the color of the rose gold. I wear mostly silver so the rose gold is my first piece of RG ever so I want it to be a great shade. I did think the Tiffany T was a bit yellow. But I didn't have another rose gold to compare it to.

VCA perlee bracelet is too feminine for my taste, I rather go with simpler design

You definitely get more gold for the money with the Tiffany piece.

Both are great choices. I personally prefer the Tiffany.
Why do you like the Tiffany better @MatAllston? I'm going to ask some friends if I can borrow their Perlee. They don't have the rose gold, but it will be interesting to stack and see what it looks like.

Did you try on the T chain bracelets? I thought I would love the T you picked, then I tried on the chains and fell in love with those.

I don't know how they would look with your stack, but it might be worth trying on bracelets you would never think about, just to see how you feel. IMO, your stack seems very uniform with the addition of a similar bracelet. I'm all for matching patterns & textures, but sometimes it's fun to see how items you would never think about would look.

I think even in the T video, they stacked all kinds of T bracelets. Your Cartiers have a similar style to the T bangles, so they might work with the chains.

Or Atlas.... :graucho: (I'd be trying it with everything in the store.)

Hi Metrowestmama, I also tried on both the Tiffany T ( thicker and the thin one), the Tiffany T chain and the Perlee Signature recently. The first thing my Tiffany SA said to me is that the T's will not always line up on the thin one- as you noticed and that the more you use it the more it may become noticeable to you - probably not to anyone else. I am a little OCD so that would really bother me. I asked her about the thicker T bracelet and and she said she hadn't noticed it yet but she thought it was a stronger design and maybe it wouldn't do that - in my mind that was too noncommittal to me about how the bracelet would look over time.

If it is not to late I hope you will look at the the Tiffany chain. I really loved it on my wrist - I thought it was a great piece for everyday and stacking with whatever you have. Having said that I love the Perlee Signature more than the chain T bracelet - it has more presence.

Best of luck with your decision!!!!

Thanks so much. Your comment really helped. I think I'll pass on the Tiffany T. I don't own anything by Tiffany so I think I was also enamored by the fact I'd own something from Tiffany since nothing has ever really caught my eye there. Other than the diamonds. LOL. Probably should stick with the VCA line and put my $5000 to something there, even if it is not the signature perlee. Maybe the frivole earrings if the bracelet doesn't work out. :graucho:

Do try the frivole earings. They are GREAT!
You have great bracelets and to be honest, I don't think that adding another bracelet to your stack does any justice for your lovely pieces. The T bracelet just looks like too much and I am not sure that adding the perlee would be any better. More isn't always more.
I have and love the perlee bracelet and have had no issues with the clasp.
My vote is for the earrings;)

You have a good point @TexasGirlieGirl! Plus, my holy grail is the perlee clover so more money saved can go to that someday!

I hope this doesn't offend you but I don't think the Tiffany bracelet suits well with your gorgeous stack. I personally don't think that this T bracelet will ever be as classic or iconic as e.g. a cartier love or VCA item. I love VCA but the perlee is not to my taste- would rather save up for something else!! :)
