Rose des vents - best bag ever?

So beautiful. What a classic, striking silhouette. I'd be interested to see it in real life.
I received the Black MM a couple of weeks ago and I love the 60's vibe I get from the bag.
The classic shape is why I purchased it.
I too, am concerned about the leather scratching.
I'm very careful with bags like this, and I won't be using it for an everyday bag.
I was surprised the the MM was smaller and lighter then I was expecting.
I originally thought I would go with the PM, after seeing the MM, it was the right choice for me.
I won't wear it with the strap, its' too big for my frame and doesn't look right.

Beautiful. My only tiny, tiny gripe is the lock. Do you think it will get in the way hanging on the end of the flap? I am also waiting to see this in other colours. I haven't seen it online yet, have they changed the name? Cheers.
I would take off the lock. It would be inconvenient to need to unlock it each time one opens the bag. Also, from experience with similar bags, the swinging pendulum of the lock can create a semi-circle wear mark on the front of the bag. There is some distance between the flap and the bottom, but it can still happen over time.
