I had both, but in different colors. I thought Rory would be a great work bag, but in the end I'd rather carry Molly with a tote for the extras if necessary..
I'm late in joining the Rory bandwagon. I have a black lindsey and it was my HG and go-to-purse. I just got my new-to-me fuschia Rory over the weekend and I just loooooveeee her!
The leather is super smooshy and it has already been broken into and slouches perfectly. The straps and even the short handles are very comfortable over my shoulder. Was worried about the weight as some say it is on the heavy side but compared to Lindsey, it weighs just about the same with the same things stuffed inside. I sometimes find my Lindsey quite heavy, but so far not with the Rory (only used her for 3 days though).
This Rory is definitely a keeper! I'm loving it! The hot fuschia color is TDF!! Just started going into the Legacy lines as I was more into the Madisons before. Love love love! Might need to have another one in neutral

Thanks - really appreciate getting opinions from others. I would probably rather just carry one bag vs. a handbag and a tote. May be nice to have the extra room of the Rory for kid stuff. Thanks again!

What is it about a Black Rory that makes one hunker down and stay in it for awhile? I'm not like this about any of my other bags. I'm in and out of all others at around the ten day mark; even Cognac Rory. But Black Rory.....there's just somethin' about that bag that just makes me wanna stay.
I've been using my black Rory for around a month or so now. I've changed a couple times to duffle and Courtenay depending what I wear. But black Rory is my everyday bag for the most part. It can be a little heavy depending on contents. I actually use it along with the large city tote on my commute. But I tend to carry a lot, and I also prefer big bags.
Thanks for your input! Did you ever find a Cognac? I don't know why Coach won't just send those to the outlet or FOS.
This is exactly me too! I have the cognac also....wore her today... changed out of her tonight... but black Rory....I can never wear her just one day... she's a fine piece of leather!
I have not found a cognac Rory, but I haven't been looking lately to be honest. If there was a great deal, I might get the cognac, but I'm really perfectly happy with just a black Rory (and I got her on ebay too, she was in awesome shape thankfully).
Now you have made me want to get my black Rory out I got her a month ago thanks to another tpfer I had such an issue with getting her from another store charge send in fact I almost didn't get her because of mess up .

did you come up with which one you're keeping? ...... if i personally had to only pick one i'd go with Rory.... ONLY b/c shes bigger and can be worn multiple ways. I love Molly (i had one....sold it....now im getting one again) and its a great everyday bag but Rory just is the best of BOTH WORLDS (meaning both .... its a mix between Molly & a Duffle) to me. BUT if you could keep both why not keep both??
