1. Opinions on comparisons between the textured and smooth? Weight, style/timelessness, how they look when broken in
2. Should I have paid $200 for Molly (only 50% off)? There was no red price written in the tag - it was on a table with other legacy bags near the back of the store, but clearly not on the clearance shelves.
3. At this point, what are the odds of finding a black or cognac at an outlet? I feel like it's a lost cause, and only if someone happens to make a return

I have both the smooth Black and the textured graphite. I love them both very much!

As far as textured vs smooth, the textured graphite is heavier, but it had a great slouch right off the bat. It seems more durable and has not shown one scratch. The smooth leather already has a few surface scratches that become less noticeable with conditioner, but they are still there. To me, the smooth is more delicate than the textured and will show more wear over time. That being said, I don't consider it a bag that I'm going to have to 'baby'. The black Legacy leather is very deep and semi-matte, so it's just gorgeous. The silver hardware just pops on it! It is my favorite.

For me, Molly is the perfect size! It is not so deep that my things get lost, but it still holds a TON! In fact, I love the Molly so much I just bought a Black Cherry off ebay. I don't care if I paid a little more than in the outlets...I didn't want to miss this bag before it is completely gone. I think your chances of finding a black in the outlets is still pretty good. Cognac may be harder. I have seen some pretty good deals on ebay for the black. I paid around $190 for mine, slightly more than outlet price, but I didn't have to pay sales tax or shlep 45 minutes to the outlet, so it was worth it to me.

I'm a big fan of the classic bags and smooth leather, but I love my graphite Rory. Love the color combo and to me it seems like the textured is going to be a no fuss, all weather bag, like patent.

But you should get what you want. I love Rory and I have a feeling down the road I will pick up a smooth leather in this style also. But you should get the Molly you want,especially if you think.you'll only get ONE.

It says online that it is an online exclusive so maybe it won't ever hit the stores. With Coach, you never know!

I am waiting on my back order too. No charge has hit my card yet though.

Edit: I just called Coach and my bag is packed and ready to ship out today and once UPS picks it up, I will get my shipping e-mail. I hope to have it by Friday, but more than likely it won't be until Monday. Yea!
