I am still in Rome and have been going back daily to the smaller store and talking to an SA but doesn't sound promising. What color did you get? Eventhough i saw Birkin 35 etoupe was offered to a lady when we enter the store.
i didn't give up though.....because i know they have the bag. So i started to look for kelly double tour and keep chatting with the SA while my husband complaining to other SA. 15 minutes after, one SA started to talk to the other SA in French (which we don't understand) then went to the storage and bring the big orange box for us. Birkin 35 togo...eventhough it's not the color that i want but at least....i finally got one.

Hi...I got my VAT back through my credit card about a month later. You will lose out on the exchange rates though... Hope this helps...

. Anyway I am going to Rome next month and was playing with the idea of buying a Birkin. I was at the Rome boutique a few years ago and they were lovely to me. I purchased a belt and was in the market for a Lindy that they had but wanted to buy in my last stop that in Paris. I honestly didn't like the SA in Paris at all. I thought they were sort of horrible people. They wouldn't show anything a woman next to me rejected a Birkin and when I asked if I could see it they said no. UGHH!!

Yes please do tell me. What really upset in Paris was that they didn't even look me in the eyes. My hard earned money isn't good enough for Hermes but the classy Kardashian's money is.

You may want to avoid Kim (the Asian lady) at that store. She is quite possibly the worst SA I have encountered. Off the charts.
Is Kim the SA in Milan or Paris? ooh, if you mean the Asian lady SA in FSH, I totally agree with you. Her face was really pale and cold, and whatever you asked, she gave you a robotic NO without thinking!!
