won't recommend dropping by H in Rome or Milan unless you are prepared to spend at least € 10k on jewelleries/ shoes/ scarfs. basically it's 1:1. my last trip in Rome was in end of May, we were offered lindys 26, Constance 24, and Kelly mini, and spent a total of €35K for all including RTW etc.

Do you know if this would be an issue for Evelyne TPM/PM or Lindy 26/30? I will be in both Rome and Florence at the end of the month and was hoping for either, no B/K, since I have only only been offered either with PHW here in NYC recently when I am really looking for GHW. I was hoping I would have more luck while on my trip.

Does anyone have a SA recommendation for either store?

hey hun, if youre located in USA, you might wanna try purchasing online directly from Hermes web, they have wide variaties of Lindy on US web

I just PMed you with my humble experience in Rome. HTH! Please, keep us updated, Jjsshh. I really hope your friend can get your Lindy 26!

Would you please share the name of your SA in Rome with me, too?
I am planning on visiting Rome early October, and would like to try for B, though I know it would be a challenge!

Sorry for the long post but I'd like to share my experience with you all, dear tPFers.
I was in Rome and Milan a few days ago and I'm a bit sad because the boutiques were low in stock as regards small leather goods. :crybaby: When I travel, I take the opportunity to buy SLGs that my local boutique normally doesn't have. I'm sorry I can't be of help this time as regards bags in Rome or Milan because I'm blessed to have an adorable SA in Buenos Aires and I can buy my bags locally (but that's another thread!).
Back to topic, I think it wouldn't be fair to recommend just one SA because on this trip I was helped by many SAs, and in more than one occasion by TWO SAs at the same time, especially in Milan, and I'm not a VIP! :amuse: They were so kind! I'd like to mention that I'm so grateful to Margherita, Alina and Paulo from Milan, and Jasmine from Rome!
And it is also a pleasure to visit the Hermès boutique at Terminal 3 in Fiumicino Airport. The SAs there are always so kind, too!
Even though I couldn't get everything I had on my wishlist, I'm so happy for the whole H experience. I think manners and learning Italian take you everywhere! ;)

Hello!
I am fairly new to the Hermes bags world, so I need help from you experts please! So far all the items I own are jewelry/shoes and I am now wanting to purchase my first bag. I will be traveling to Milan in a few weeks. How hard would it be to score a black Picotin 22?
I have read it is very hard to purchase exclusive bags like B/K/C from this store but how about more common bags?

TIA!

I'm sure that if they have any in stock, they'll sell it to you. Every time I'm in Milan, I see them on display - might be coincidence or not. The last time they had one in blue on the shelves with those woven handles
