Rolex Datejust poll: Roman Numerals vs Diamonds

I absolutely love my roman numerals, especially with the contrast of a white face. I find the roman numerals to have a softer/more feminine look than the stick markers, but I had a hard time choosing between the diamonds and the roman numerals too. Ultimately decided to go with the roman numerals because I genuinely love them and if I want to upgrade in the future to diamonds its about 2k and is just another thing to look forward to! As long as you're not set on MOP (too delicate to upgrade or change according to my Rolex AD), I would go with the roman numerals and then upgrade later if you can genuinely enjoy the romans. If not, go right to the diamonds

I love it. Big congrats! I know what you mean. I also had a hard time choosing and ended up with diamond dial. However I can't get rid of the exact same watch as yours in my mind after all. It has very classic look of Rolex which you never get tired of. Thanks for posting yours!

Absolutely stunning!! I don't know why, but I love the all steel or steel/wg with diamonds more so than two tone. Such a beautiful watch and a great choice!

Also, it's hard to tell from the picture but what color is the face? Black MOP?

what did the OP chose in the end? im also aiming for a Rolex for my 30th birthday in January. and I'm eyeing the 36 everose jubilee but can't decide on the dial and markers! I wanted a black dial but torn about Roman and diamonds as well!! i can't decide!

Hi, for which once have you decided? I have the same dilemma....roman or diamond markers in 31mm everose/steel on jubilee, with fluted bazel.
I have 3 candidates:
aubergine dial with roman numerals or
MOP with diamond dial or
rose gold with diamond markers? Which one? Help?
