Rolex Datejust poll: Roman Numerals vs Diamonds

If the above is ones concern, then it's better to stay with a stainless/wg model, or just wear a brand that is less known to criminals. If you have any Rolex for that matter, then diamonds on the dial aren't going to make any difference to criminals. A two tone is more flashy/showy than tiny diamonds on a dial IMO.

to make your decision easier, that`s mine :) and I don`t think it looks to flashy. The SA also told me that the gloom paint on the hands and the roman numbers will faint with times. With diamonds that`s forever :roflmfao::D

SS Air King with pink MOP face, diamond markers and bezel. I wear it wherever I want and that is not "asking someone to steal" it (which IMO is a ridiculous thing to say). Get whatever makes your heart sing, and enjoy it!!

I absolutely love my roman numerals, especially with the contrast of a white face. I find the roman numerals to have a softer/more feminine look than the stick markers, but I had a hard time choosing between the diamonds and the roman numerals too. Ultimately decided to go with the roman numerals because I genuinely love them and if I want to upgrade in the future to diamonds its about 2k and is just another thing to look forward to! As long as you're not set on MOP (too delicate to upgrade or change according to my Rolex AD), I would go with the roman numerals and then upgrade later if you can genuinely enjoy the romans. If not, go right to the diamonds :)
