Rogue Quality Issues w Hardware

It's a great bag, absolutely beautiful! Not sure why you're sad....the Rogue is a winner for Coach and will continue to be.

It's simple, really. I'm sad for those who purchased a near $1000 bag and had their hardware chip off in short time. Many customers are not okay with this. It's nothing against Coach (of which I'm a huge fan!) but of the inferior quality on some of their pieces and how it would be beneficial for all customers if those who experience this sub-par quality would speak up about it. If they did, hopefully this would send Coach a message that they need to improve the gunmetal hardware quality.
If customers don't speak up and voice their displeasure then it might be 'business as usual' for Coach.
I know which scenario I would hope for.
You don't have to agree with me but I do hope that you're open-minded enough to entertain a different viewpoint.

I completely agree with this. If I paid that kind of money for a bag with chipped hardware or any other type of obvious defect, I would expect the company to fix or replace it. I've had a few Coach keychains and fobs fall apart on me after a short period and they replaced them without question. Like most brands, Coach has bags that are great quality and bags that fall short. Nothing wrong with calling them out on it.

Hadn't noticed any problems with my saddle Rogue 25 with black hardware, then saw that the feet are showing the underlying copper color a liiiitle bit. Found the dark denim on eBay the other day for a decent price, so I'm selling my saddle. Sad to see it go but I already have 2 other Coach bags with black hardware (a Dakotah and Shadow) so I kinda wanted another one with brass hardware anyway... I wonder if the gold hardware is solid brass though; kinda skeptical.

Update: The Customer Care rep that e-mailed me in response to my question told me that the gold brass hardware on the Rogues is composed of "metal." SMDH...

Sad that Coach thinks they're customers are so uninformed as to the product..........they need to step it up!

This is hilarious!

It absolutely is hilarious, isn't it? Seems like maybe they're just grabbing people off the street to man their phones and try to answer questions. I've had some interesting one's as well. They can't even give dimensions at times.....doesn't instill confidence. I usually have to go to ebay listings to find out the particulars of many Coach bags since they don't deem it important enough to disclose on their website or train their Reps to know this information.
The mind boggles.

Lol, yes... she barely tried. Better luck next time!

At least she was answering your question...I called in to ask about something, and the first thing the gal said was "why are you asking about this style no." Then, she changed her tone when I said I wanted to place know details so as to place an order; well, someone apparently didn't want my business 3 seconds ago! Needless to say, I'm calling my local store instead to get that bag; isn't it the customer rep's job to answer inquiries???
