Dear Coachies,
I have a question - would you exchange one of these border rivets 30s (minimally worn) for preloved credit to apply to purchase of the new black rogue 17 with rivets? Thanks for your opinion!

Definitely not. Isn't the max credit they give you really small compared to what you could sell for on a reselling site... unless you don't care about that and just want some $$ towards the 17...

Thanks and hear you loud and clear! I been meaning to look into selling online but for some reason keep procrastinating…And honestly I don’t need the 17 but adore it….I also have new many bags that I have not used (pre pandemic)… a separate topic…

I wouldn't. The pebbled leather is nicer to me than the smooth leather. The relative size of the rivets to the bag looks more comical on the 17 than the 30's. I like the look of the cloches, even if not functional. I also already know that the 25 is small for me and the 17 would just be too small to be a daily carry.

As mentioned earlier, the credit they give is so little and from reading other posts, it seems to come with lots of strings attached.

Thanks for responding! I haven’t seen the 17 irl but been into smaller bags now and you are right about the pebble leather especially since I don’t baby bags I could potentially scratch up the first day.

No way! Keep those beauties unless you’re certain you won’t be reaching for them again. I like how the rivets are smaller and understated, not to mention the tearoses :loveeyes:. The 17 is cute though, and I understand if you need something smaller. You’d probably be better off reselling the larger bag though. You could probably get more for it than the cost of the 17.

Thank you for responding! I haven't used them but may reach for them again. Awaiting to see the 17 irl....

You won’t get back the value they’re worth trading in for credit. Keep them or sell online. There are many marketplaces and sites where you can do that.
