I’m thinking about doing MTO but have heard about some issues. One person got a gorgeous bag but found skipped stitches. When she called customer service she got a very rude guy who wasn’t much help. They have you over a barrel because you’ve paid for the bag in advance, you wait months, and then it arrives. You don‘t have much recourse if anything is wrong with it.

Has anyone here experienced any quality control issues on MTO Rogues? Has anyone had a bad experience ordering one? If so, what happened? I’d like to do one but am hesitant about forking over all that money and trusting it will be done right. I’ve purchased two NWT made to order Rogues on eBay that were beautiful but haven’t actually ordered one myself. I’d love to do a 30 in tumeric natural leather. Waiting to see how the situation plays out for the person who shared her situation with the skipped stitches. I saw photos and I’d be upset too. Especially with the way customer service treated them.

Here’s an update on that customer’s bag who had bad stitching on her MTO Rogue. Even her local SA can’t get anyone to do anything about it. She’s basically stuck with an expensive bag that has bad stitching and no recourse at all. Not going to take a chance on ordering one now. Coach dropped the ball again. Customer service is the worst at Coach. They lost me as a MTO customer.

I actually find that to be very surprising. I’ve always had such great experiences with Coach quality and customer service the one time that I did have an issue with an order. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be accommodating when it comes to MTO orders if something is clearly wrong with it and at no fault of the customer…

I don’t see why they wouldn’t be accommodating when it comes to MTO orders if something is clearly wrong with it and at no fault of the customer…

They sent me a bag with a defective clasp and I’d used a special discount card they sent. I had a question it and this woman was so rude I asked to speak to her supervisor. that’s when she hung up on me!

Oh wow! I could see how an experience like that could turn you off from the brand entirely. So sorry you had to go through that, and I hope things were resolved to your liking in the end.

Yes, I contacted an SA at my local store who said she’d complain about the woman who hung up on me but I’d didn’t know any names. She handled the return for me.
