Thank you. I ordered it, Saks had 10% e-bates too. It is better than the MTO I would order in black but I would never have thought of the light blue lining, not even available on MTOs. I love the blue color with the black and the whipstitch is a bonus. My MTO had oxblood with oxblood handles but I already have too much oxblood and I wasn't going to pay the extra for python in an MTO anyway. Win win for me. I hope I love it and it's in non-fondled shape. Doesn't hurt that I just sold a piece of jewelry that was the same price.

It should come fully wrapped/new. It is a fairly new bag, and I ordered once from them for a bag that was sold out everywhere else for a long while--suspecting I would get a bag that was a return, and they had a good stock of it at Saks. Thus I had a fully packaged item when it came...very happy surprise.

I like this bag too. I hope you get a great one.

Already shipped from the distribution center in Tennessee! I am so excited about this bag, more than any of the others from SAS. I finally realized why I didn't like any of the black rogues besides the yellow lining. Most of them have yellow stitching on the outside and I don't like that look. This one looks like black stitching. Can't wait for Wed.

So my bags from the extra 20% weekend sale came and I'm torn.

I ordered the Whipstich Rogue and the Chalk Rogue.
well, the Whipstich is in brand new condition and is third generation (has anyone received a 2nd generation whipstich during the sale?)

And the chalk is a 2nd generation with a handwritten tag that was clearly a return but clean. I'm torn because it's not brand new, new and I have an LV the exact same color - but I hate to return a 2nd generation Rogue.

Opinions?

Is the chalk dirty in any way? A handwritten tag would not bother me if I planned to keep and use it. If you want to resell later and have used it, I am not sure it would matter much to the buyer if the tag is not present. Do you love them enough?

The thing that bothers me more than the lack of a clochette about the 3rd gens is the lack of the leather strip under the feet. That strip gives the feet more height to protect the bottom of the bag. And it gives some stiffness to hold shape in the soft pebbled leather.
