I was advised to reach out on this Rogue thread for a question on a bag I just purchased. I was concerned it wasn’t authentic. Although everything else seems to look good, it’s missing the X mark with the 1941 around it located under the zipper flap on the side of the bag. I’m attaching pics of the bag. So if anyone has the same bag with the stamp missing and are sure it’s authentic I’d love to hear about it and set my mind at ease. Additional pics are posted in the authenticate thread. Posted yesterday. Thanks in advance ladies! (PS I’m new so sorry if I ramble or am making mistakes)

The first wave of 1941 items that came out in Spring 2016 did not have that X stamp. I'm not exactly sure when Coach started adding that stamp to its 1941 items but I have a first generation oxblood Rogue and a Dinky that i bought in March 2016 and a red Rogue that I bought in May 2016 both from my local Coach store and none of them have that stamp. Looking at the manufacture date on the white tag in your pictures, your Rogue was one of these first waves of 1941 items to come out that didn't have the stamp.

Are these authentic? I’m not interested in buying because the handles are part of the charm of the bag, in my opinion. I’m just genuinely curious!

These versions can be found at the outlet.

This looks like the Rogue Shoulder Bag.

It’s the rogue shoulder bag. They originally were sold in the Coach retail stores and recently have been re-introduced as outlet rogue bags.

When were those bags sold in store? I don’t recall this at all

I think there were a couple retail rogue shoulder bags with the chain c’s but not like the ones she’s asking about. I was under the impression those were made for the factory.

The shoulder rogues without the "c" linked chains were sold in overseas retail stores. Both versions were eventually sent to the outlets with the MFF creed patches. Here's the old listing from the Coach UK site for the bags without the "c" linked chains.

I've never seen them in stores (or anyone wearing them) either, but I don't frequent the Coach store or Outlets much because I tend to buy online.

Hi,

I recently purchased a 36 at an outlet, and need to decide if I should keep it. Anyone who as this size - does it get too heavy when you carry your stuff or carry for a longtime?

I have Rogues in the 30 and love them, but this just seems so much bigger.

Everyone is different and what they carry and what they consider heavy. I don't mind heavy as long as my bag is really nice leather.

For me, I use the shoulder straps more with my 36 than the 30 size because it does feel a tad heavier even with the same stuff inside. More leather so heavier.

I think of my 36 as a shoulder bag with a handle if I want to carry that way. I think of my 30 as a satchel with a shoulder strap if I need it. If that makes any sense....

I personally don't think I could go any larger than the 30 because of the weight, but I do have a neck injury so I can't tolerate heavy bags like I used to be able to. My 30 is my late fall/winter bag and I have a 25 for a late spring/summer bag. I mainly bring them to work Monday through Friday, so they spend the majority of the time sitting on my desk instead of actually on my shoulder. I always downsize to clutches and crossbody bags when I'll be doing a lot of walking (planned shopping trips, walk around the city) or for a night out.
