I have a medium and a large, and I have to say I like the large much better. It will fit my makeup bag if needed and not be overly stuffed... and I can still zip it up! I am planning on getting the large oxblood rogue and maybe the medium olive, but I might need to stop at 3. It's hard because I really want a Fendi Roll Bag with the monster eyes but that's just a big open tote... the rogue is just so nice and easy to use without a lot of extra organizers.

Attached some pics of large whip stitch rivet rogue and medium chalk rogue with roughly the same things inside each.
Thanks for the great pics. I have been on the fence between the two sizes. Have read and re-read everyone's opinions on the sizes. So hard without seeing them in person. I want that black one with rivets so badly. It looks gorgeous. Do the rivets seem like they'll hold up - meaning not fall off or get scratched?

I don't think the rivets are going to fall off. Obviously I can't take the bag apart and look at how they are attached, but judging solely by what I can see with minimal prying the long skinny ones they look like they have more than 2 attachment points. I think maybe 4-6. For rivets that shape a lot of the time they only have attachments at either end, this rivet I can't get my fingernail under. I'm not trying to lift them up or pull them off, but they feel pretty solidly on there. Ditto with the pyramid shaped ones - I can tell they have 4 attachment points, one on each side, but I can't really get my fingernail under the corner so I'm not going to try anymore. The tiny brass circular ones are more of a mystery to me. Since they are also on the fringe you can see them on one side but not on the other. Here's a picture of what I mean below. Also I have no idea how they are sticking on there since I can't get them to budge!

Thank you so much for the packing pics! Exactly what I was looking for. Wow the rivet/whiplash rogue looks AMAZING! I have the 4 mediums including the tea rose so looking into getting a large and this maybe it!

I love the look of the tea rose but it reads too dressy and almost too feminine for me. I work in tech and tend to like a more edgy/industrial look. Plus I would be terrified of something happening to it while carrying it.

Thanks for responding! I certainly don't want you to try and pry them but I appreciate you examining them. Good to know they seem to have more than two attachment points. I wouldn't expect them to make such an expensive bag with rivets prone to falling off, but it is something that concerned me. The look would be ruined if a rivet came off. Gah. I want this bag so bad. Your posts continue to enable me....

By the way, when you showed the contents of your bag, I lol'd at the fruit loops. But I shouldn't talk, I often have treats and poop bags for my dog. :)

hahah! I thought about taking the Froot Loops out of the bag before taking the picture but decided against it. I'm so happy work has Froot Loops right now, they are up there with special K as my favorite cereal. :)

Today I have doggie treats and poop bags in the rogue since my doggo had to go to the vet. Usually I keep those in a smaller crossbody I use when walking the dog or going to the dog park.

That is too weird. I also took my dog to the vet today! An impromptu appointment. Therefore had to stay late at work, then stopped at the coach store to pick up my tea rose dinky. I find it funny you commented on the tea rose rogue being too dressy and feminine for you. I am not typically a flowery girl, but something drew me to the tea rose dinky. Something about the craftsmanship and uniqueness of the tea rose pieces, I had to have one. I will use it more as a going out bag.

I'm an engineer and maybe that's why the riveted rogue is so appealing to me. I plan to splurge soon. Just letting my credit card take a breather after getting the dinky and the vet visit, etc. My store won't likely get that one in so it will have to be a special order. I know I can't wait too long though...

Re concerns of tea rose being too girly & fragile; I totally understand your hesitation: the very last thing I wear are flowery, girly things. Ironically I get a very rock n roll vibe with my tea rose: it's slouchy for starters, and the muted colors almost make this a neutral bag, if you can believe it! If I had a super-corporate or super-conservative job I might not choose to wear this to work, but I still think it would work in those environs. Also the petals are riveted on so securely that I don't feel this is a fragile bag at all. I have many bags I love but wouldn't dare wear in NYC due to danger of getting dirty or dinged (i.e. my Prada lux tote in "Cameo" beige). I'm slinging the tea rose all over NYC, in busses & subways and dirty studio floors and it's a no-worry breeze!

Believe me, I have seriously considered the tea rose Rogue. I've liked it ever since I first saw it. I love the colors in it and the style, just wasn't sure it was "me". It's good to know it's not fragile and is holding up well to regular use. I will have to decide if I want the tea rose, the riveted, or plain olive green one...

Thanks for your experience!

So I just bought a large rivet rogue on a whim. I also bought medium oxblood rogue from Nordstrom a few days ago, and ordered red Rexy for the oxblood. Now I have a river, and I much prefer rivet to oxblood, so l will be returning the oxblood. I like the red Rexy, but is this a little too much for rivet? If so I'll be returning a Rexy as well :((
What do you all think?

Darn it. I want that riveted bag. I keep trying to believe it's too close to my black whipstich Tatum.

In my opinion, the Rexy is a bit much for the bag. The bag has a lot of details already. The Rexy makes it look too busy, to me.

You NEED it!!!!!! The pictures don't do justice, the bag looks much better in person!
Yeah you are right, bag doesn't need any extra stuff....... Too bad, I really like Rexy though.
