I'm with you....or have you caved by now? I'm over the elimination of the lock, but the fact the hardware has shown chipping, scratches and flaking concerns me. (The gunmetal/silver tone). I settled for the alpine moss borough, because I desperately wanted the color(with the same hardware problems). How crazy that Coach hasn't resolved this problem by now. I'm more cautious about spending $800 on a bag that may have hardware problems in a month.
Also disheartening to see 1941 bags (dinky' s and saddle) on the SAS....who's to say Rogues aren't next?
I can relate; same thing happened to my large Alpine moss borough and I was curious to know if the olive Rogue had the same issues as it had the same hardware. Thanks for sharing this info. Not sure I want to pay full price for this color combo. . . if it is already chipping, it may be worth waiting for a discount somewhere or going without it. :(

I need some help but feel rather silly writing this. I purchased the tea rose charm for my chalk Rogue 25. My problem is this, I can't get the charm to hang without looking as if is hanging crooked. I have seen several pictures where they are hanging beautifully but mine doesn't. This morning I moved it to the hardware which holds the shoulder strap rather than the hardware which holds the handles. It helps some but still isn't right. Any advice?

I'm not sure how others are doing theirs, so hopefully more will chime in. I put a little ball chain around the hardware and hung my butterflies off that.

I call it collecting!

I have always peeked at the Rogue forum because I love the look, but never really considered it because I never carry bags by short handles, and I don't like the look of carrying bags by the longer strap and having the short handles showing.

My Coach SAs that know my likes and dislikes said that you can easily fold the short handles in and just use the longer straps. Does anyone carry their Rogue that way? Do the handles take up a lot of space inside then? They had no Rogues to show me. I apologize if this has been discussed.

I carry mine that way & it's not bulky at all. You can still get in the suede pockets easily & there seems to be plenty of room. I usually just keep my iPhone in there. Hope this helps- if you have any other questions let me know!

Popping in to share my opinion on a couple questions posed above.
As for attaching a key fob, I tried several different ways using the chain, etc. and I just didn't like the way it hung. So, with my medium olive, I actually kept the black "lock" key fob that comes with it on and then attached my black tea rose fob to that, clipping it to the slit in the leather where the lock fob pulls through. Although you do see the entire fob with hook that way, it hangs nicely and I prefer it. I think if you browse through pics on the various Rogue threads, you'll see others do that as well. That's where I got the idea!! :)
As for carrying, I use the two shoulder straps and find its super comfy to use that way. I fold the handles in and don't find that it hinders me from grabbing anything that way.
Good luck deciding...this 1941 line is killing me...and my bank account, but I LOVE IT!

Let's start a thread for the new Rogue handbag. Show us ladies what you got!
I'm on a train bound for NYC sporting my Tea Rose Rogue and boy, do I LOVE this bag. I'm a techno dummy & don't know how to post photos from my iPhone onto the website. Any helpful hints would be appreciated. But, as an owner of many Chanels & LVs, with a couple of Fendis and Pradas thrown it, this Coach def holds her own! Hooray for fabulous contemporary American Design! And now to try to post a photo of her on the train....

Thanks you and I will try this as well. It's too nice to hang poorly plus I love my bag.
