First let me say this sale is killing me. I always get wrangled into buying way more than I even thought I'd have interest in. However, this latest purchase was strictly on a whim. I had seen this bag upon its original release and liked it but was not going to pay full price. So many reveals on here recently and decided to pull the trigger yesterday and got it today with the overnight service. This bag is so special. As you can see, it's still wrapped to the nines. I was taken by the color as well as the overall combination. I love the black handles, the burgundy leather interior, the goldish stitching, and of course the leather sequin glitter paint heart on the front. I'm so glad I got it! Thanks for your enabling!

In other news. The ruby came back in stock so I took a chance and what was I thinking? It just showed up with express shipping and here it is. Good lord I have never returned a bag so messy like this one is obviously returned with no stuffing and mashed up in the dust bag. It was put in a nice gift box though... :eyeroll: It's been sitting in the cold so I will let it warm up and see if the leather is salvageable. It does have wear on the feet like it was a display though.

In other news. The ruby came back in stock so I took a chance and what was I thinking? It just showed up with express shipping and here it is. Good lord I have never returned a bag so messy like this one is obviously returned with no stuffing and mashed up in the dust bag. It was put in a nice gift box though... :eyeroll: It's been sitting in the cold so I will let it warm up and see if the leather is salvageable. It does have wear on the feet like it was a display though.

Oh I hope so because yours and @Valkrie's are beautiful! I should just give up on a red 25 and try to find another perfect red bag. I do have an MTO dark denim and oxblood that makes me smile when I use it.

ETA - I filed a SNAD with ebay on the saddle 25 because the seller stopped responding to me after the $70 restocking fee comment. I tried to work it out before escalating but no go.

Sorry Ruby showed up like that! That is how my purple 25 from the dark fairytale collection showed up, ordered from FOS. Mine was also cold lol I stuffed it full and rearranged the straps and it has mostly bounced back.

Do you happen to have a pic of your MTO dark denim?! It sounds beautiful [emoji7] I’m so sad I missed that color as I really want one with brass hardware. I may eventually order a MTO.

The ruby is very dry too like @Teagaggle said hers was. I am bummed but excited to get the KH one. I stuffed it and am going to let it sit a few days in the house to see if I change my mind.

This MTO was preloved but is such a nice bag and perfect color choices.

Same here. My Rogue arrived with no stuffing and no dust bag. Some wear on the feet. Leather is fine tho.

It’s a really beautiful combo! The stitching looks to be light blue? Adds a nice touch!

The beechwood Rogue I got from the sale also came looking not like new. There's something special about factory packaging…it's just nice to know that you are the first owner if you are paying full price. Mine didn't have wrapping on the hardware or any stuffing, but worst was it came with slight dents on the back leather. I decided to keep it because it was 40% off and I could live with it, but I do wish I had paid attention because it dropped to 50% off and I think that would've been a fairer price I understand your frustration, redwood!!

Just to close out my drama and to thank those that helped with the ebay situation. It was found in my favor and they provided a return label with funds to be credited upon delivery confirmation of returned bag. I guess that means if the post office shows it delivered I will get my $ back with no complaining from the seller? I hope I don't have to deal with them again.

Thank you for your help and I will be much more careful in the future with sellers.

Ebay will following the tracking# and know when the seller received it. You will them be reimbursed. Ebay really is great when a buyer has an issue. Glad that it is all resolved.

After all this messing around (and $) trying to get the perfect bag would it be better to have one made just like I want? I know some of you have MTOs, and I love the one I got preloved. It is made very well with perfect everything. I love oxblood but would like a black bag too.

Thoughts on this one and if you have an MTO does it measure up/worth it? I would love to have python handles but I'm not going to pay $300+ for them.

I'm glad you got everything resolved. It always amazes me when sellers get so defensive with buyers that have a legitimate concern. I sell here and there on eBay and the few times I've had a buyer with an issue it really weighs on me and I try to resolve it in the most friendly way as possible.

I have almost this exact MTO bag. Except mine is the regular size, has the antique nickel hardware and the short handles are black. I love it but have recently decided that I like the size of the 25 more so haven't carried it in a while. Here it is with and without camera flash.
