I was thinking of finding the Borough in moss green (the largest one they made) and using that but then thought the Rogue in Ivy is probably similar in color. I like that it isn't black like every other business bag. The Borough is 11.5" high so seems like a better fit.

Sorry, no clue about the Rogue 39, but I would be careful about buying the borough in moss green. Every other color/leather combo is fine, but for some reason the hardware on that one tarnishes like crazy. Otherwise, beautiful bag!

It is so sad that bag's hardware has such issues! The one I see shows the zipper pulls all tarnished and pitted but the rest seems OK. Coach may be able to replace the pulls but if it is the same hardware, my guess is it will do the same thing. I think I may wait. I'm not sure I'd use the bag for anything other than work and waiting to hear how our merger shakes out. I'm becoming more and more less corporate and don't care to dress the part any more. The generic black nylon computer bag is OK for what I use it for and I have a Coach signature canvas messenger bag I used for my last business trip and it held a lot! It is a little more casual but got the job done and was fun to travel with. I used a small crossbody with essentials that I could tuck inside it to carry on the plane so I would only have my carryon luggage and 1 bag. Not sure the borough would actually be as functional. Ugh.....and there was an ebay coupon tonight that would be great to use but would have a harder time selling that bag if I needed to.

If you'd like the borough, make sure the triple zippers are your thing! Otherwise there are the soft boroughs, which are open compartments closed by magnets. I happen to love how the zippers add more structure to the bag; other members just wear them open, I think.

Good ideas! I typically don't like bags with sections but this one I'd mostly use as a work bag and thinking I'd put the computer in the middle section. I have one borough (medium size?) that I've tried selling because it just doesn't work for me with the compartments. I think that one has magnets as you said. The moss green one I'm considering is pebbled with zippers and the largest one they made. To me, too big to be a handbag from what I remember. I'd feel like I'm toting a briefcase all day long.

Anyone have a Rogue 39 that they use their laptop for? My work laptop is a standard corporate issue Dell laptop 13 x 9 inches. I'm wondering if it fits OK in the Rogue 39 if I put the laptop in some sort of sleeve. Looking at the measurements online, looks like the bag exterior measures 15.25" x 10.25" high. I think with a sleeve on my laptop it will be a tight fit to zip the Rogue up. I would want the laptop protected in a sleeve since the bag isn't too padded or do you think it would be OK?

I just bought the 39 in the sale and have the same size laptop as you. It just barely fits naked, so if you need a sleeve, the 39 definitely won't work. I was ok with the tight fit, but I also don't like the straps - even though I could use a novelty strap, those two items combined mean it's going back for me.

Thanks for your input! I think Buckeyebaker had the same issues last SAS with this size and her laptop. I took out my sleeve and measured and can confirm, the bag wouldn't be tall enough. I really don't need it but was contemplating a XL borough bag and with the ebay 20% off but I decided to wait.

Hi,
This is my first post in the Coach forum ...... I'm just after some advice please...
I love the rogue (normal size) & originally wanted the dark denim. Coach then discontinued it  .....
Anyway, the sale has started here in the UK & some rogue colours are reduced. I like steel blue & marine. After looking at loads of pics online, marine seems a bit too green (I know it seems to change shade easily)
The steel blue looks beautiful, but I'm worried that I won't like the oxblood suede lining (I've read some posts here where people have not liked the lining colour against the blue)
The marine has a lovely blue suede lining - but has less of a discount in the sale (30% I think) The steel blue is 50% off.
Does anyone here own the steel blue rogue & if so, was the suede lining colour an issue for you?

Sorry to go on, lol... Many thanks for any advice

I made the mistake of wandering into my local coach store today. Walked out with this beauty! It’s my first “big” rogue. All of my others are the 25 size. I thought those were smushy, until I filled this guy up! It’s LOVE. Just wanna hug it and smush it now
Um...I DID THE SAME THING LAST NIGHT, apparently!!!

I love this one WAAAAAY more than the Marine, though it's completely different...

Really?! How odd. I looked at that one today, when I passed by it at Macy's. I love the exterior but not the interior shade.

Oh, now that is a GORGEOUS shade. Must. Stay. Away. From my store, or I’ll walk out with an ivy one as well
