I'm not familiar with other brands, but I know the novelty strap idea is very popular among a lot of different brands right now. You could even try etsy and have a custom made strap. Or try a strap that stands out from the bag like the black and white snakeskin one?
I've been lusting after a Rogue satchel in heather grey with the snakeskin handles and saw it listed on Coach's Summer Sale. They didn't have one in stock at our local store but are getting one in from another store for me! I've been thinking about this gorgeous bag ever since I saw it in the Coach store last year...just couldn't quite afford it at the time. I even thought about getting one on Ebay but just wasn't positive of what I would be getting. So, this is super exciting for me! This will be my second Rogue 
I was thinking the same thing the other day when I saw marine. I might load up the dark turquoise and head to the store to compare. I did the same thing with the Melon tea rose on Saturday to compare to the peony. The marine wasn't on my radar until I saw it Saturday. I decided I couldn't justify the peony... If I go I'll snap some pics
I have a dark turquoise Rogue & a couple of other bags in marine, one in pebble leather like my Rogue. There is more green in the dark turquoise. The marine is closer in similarity with the color Cloud.
My peony bandit 39 and the peony tea rose rogue with snakeskin rivets came! They actually share the same shade of light pink. The rogue is pictured with the matching tea rose novelty strap in peony. Going to keep just one, and at this point leaning towards the bandit. I need to remind myself that large bags are my thing!

I don’t believe what coach is calling brass is all “old brasss” anymore. I can tell on my new Spooky Eyes Duffle that some of the hardware is actually brass and some, specifically the dog leash clips on the straps, is gold plated. I love the bag but I feel like I’ve been cheated on the hardware as I really love the brass and anything plated eventually chips and peels.
Thanks for sharing your opinion! I do think the new brass hardware looks much flimsier than the old brass. My peony bandit 39 had just a tiny spot of white on one of the feet; looks like the color will eventually wear off, if not careful. Since it's 50% off I don't mind, but besides avoiding black copper, now I may have to dodge bags with a lot of hardware in general! What a disappointment...and now the MTO rogues cost a fortune too! Maybe it's a good time to finally save some $$

I ordered the new C embossed navy Rogue 25 (the dark floral interior snagged me) AND the Ice Pink reg sz Rogue. I had some luck on eBay with sales so I decided to treat myself. They should both be here tomorrow although I won't be able to see them until I get home late tomorrow night. I'll be sure to post pictures. So excited!
