:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo: My Rockie arrived! Abolutely in LOVE! So glad I was patient and found my perfect Rockie - the inside-out in gunpowder - 1/2 price at the OutNet!

When I first saw the inside-out, it seemed a bit weird. But it's grown on me (in pics, never did see IRL) and I figured the outside edges would wear better than the "return-seam" version - will keep you posted on that. I have a Fumo wallet and the outside seams are all worn off!

The gunpowder is a deep olive-ish gray, which will go great with my wardrobe, and the shiny finish really shows off the pebbles.

Wow! Congrats!!!! I die over colours like this and the leather looks tdf too :D

Hi guys,

I would like to buy my first AW rockie bag and I´m not able to go and see it in shop. What do u think about the quality? Did u have any problems with your rockies?:)
I would like to buy rockie in pebbled leather.
Thanks!!!!

Hi guys,
does your rockie keep its shape? I know with rocco it´s a problem....

I can't really answer your questions as I've only had my Rockie for less than two weeks, but I gotta say I'm falling more and more in love with it each time I use it. Mine, an inside-out version in glazed pebbled leather, seems like it will wear very well...the leather is super-thick, the edging is very tough and the stitching is impeccable. I'm not worried about it keeping its shape...I actually prefer it to get broken-in and slouchy. Though this leather is so tough it might take a while!

Some have complained about the zippers being hard to open/close. I prefer to just keep my zippers open with the flap covering the bag contents - then everything is easy to access.

I love mine 2. Does the heaviness bother u? Especially when its full

Nope. It is noticably heavier than other bags, but because I can switch so easily between hand, elbow, shoulder and crossbody-carry options, it's not a problem. Maybe if I were walking all day with it in one position, it might get heavy, but then I'd just change the carry method. Definitely worth it!

I would love to find a Rockie in Acid or Tundra.

But in the meantime, since I doubt I will be able to find either and need to complete my collection, I am debating what color to get. I have an iodine Rocco and a soft heritage Diego.

Should I get latte (rose gold hardware), black (rose gold hardware), or black (black nickel hardware)? I alternate between wearing a lot of black and grey exclusively and dressing very colorfully...

EDIT: Now that I am looking even more, I am drawn also to flame, purple metallic, dark bronze metallic, peroxide (white). First world problems.

I need to vent for just a few seconds. I had a black rockie with antique brass hardware. I bought it from Nordstrom awhile ago (did a reveal on this forum I believe). I used it for a couple weeks and noticed rubbing on the corners so stopped using it for several months. I decided to go into Nordstrom and ask them about the rubbing problem, as it looked pretty bad after only using it a handful of times. I asked them if it was because it was Lambskin leather and the girl just laughed at me and said, "Alexander Wang is not lambskin leather, it is made in China for goodness sake" I was really taken aback by how rude the SA was and that she didn't think it was lambskin. The tags I got said it was shrunken lambskin and she said it was probably the wrong tags. I ended up returning it because she didn't really help me with the problem. It was the worst service I've received at Norstrom. Mind you, I wasn't planning on fully returning it, I wanted to learn more about the bag and how to care for it and possibly exchange it for another one. But she didn't seem to care to help me.

So can anyone confirm is the Rockies are made of lambskin? I'm really curious now.

Hello ladies. I was carrying my Rockie today and my boyfriend says what kind of bag is that, it looks cheap. Laughing inside I replied Alexander Wang. He clearly does not know the price of A Wang bags and I'm kinda glad he doesn't so he won't know how much I spent. Lol😂

Never posted photos of my Rockie in Lilac with rose gold hardware, so I thought I'd go ahead :p
