I order the brass. The copper tones of the zipper are not bad. I couldn't see the copper until I put it under a light fixture.
My only concern is the zip closure. It's not easy to open and close. I love the size and shape of rockie, but I'm not so sure about the opening.
You are awesome, bmof2!! It is sooo cute in black w black nickel. I almost succumbed to my impulses and ordered it right away.
BUT I just perused the celebrities thread and the Rockie does really look too small for my needs. I always overstuff my bags because I'm always carrying around my daughter's stuff, too.
Easy in and out is also one of my top priorities so if the zipper is a pain that's a dealbreaker. Thanks so much for pointing that out before I ordered!
I will at least have to wait until I can see it in person to determine if I can deal with the size and zipper.
Here's my new AW Rocco with Rosegold HW, love the pebble texture on the bag, I chose a bag out of several at Barney's that had the pebble texture around the whole bag, some bags had smoother Leather than others, it's good to be able to see in person and choose the one I wanted!
The hidden pocket on the side is a Bonus!
This is not a light bag, I had to downsize in order to be able to carry it, it's more comfortable to hand carry.
