cute and edgy!Finally got my bag from OTTE NY that I paid $840 for, black matte suede with black studs, and it's beyond perfect. The size, the handles, the strap, the studs, THE LEATHER, everything. I notice that the cupcake studs have a rosegold tint underneath the black, so I'll have to be extremely careful unless I want rosegold studsIt took three weeks to arrive, but here it is..

I love the smooth leather more! In my opinion it looks more high end, and with the light gold hardware it's sooo pretty. I love pebbly leather, but I think I'd reserve that for more bold or dark colors. It also looks super casual in the pebbly leather. I think the smooth is more of a head turner. That's just my opinion
Thank you manderz! I do love the pale gold hardware better and the smooth leather feels so much more luxurious. The inside is lined with black, where the pebbled version has a gray lining. anyone realize that there are two different sizes in the rockie style? i never really noticed until i actually compared the two descriptions on the neiman marcus website. what's the difference? size? is the gold hardware any different? i just ordered mine from here http://www.deifashionstore.com/alexander-wang-rockie-bag-5.html but i can't tell which one i got..what does everyone think? thanks
I would love to know this too as I got mine from the same place! I had no idea that Rockies came in two different sizes?? Or maybe is it the new season ones that are different?
yaa i'm so confused. i think we got the one that is $795 because i don't think the $725 came in the agron. it looks like it only came in the oyster and acid.

I think it's just mispriced - I phoned Neiman and asked them to do a price check by giving them the style number of the oyster rockie that's marked at 725, they told me it should be 795. I think what happened was the earlier batch was priced before the price increase. Same thing happened on AW website, oyster rockie used to be 725 three weeks ago but now it is 795.
I posted this elsewhere, but I wanted to add it to the Rockie thread: I just ordered my very first AW bag - the Rockie in Latte with rose gold hardware. I am a fairly small person, so I think the size will be perfect for me (besides, I'm used to carrying a Chanel wallet on a chain as an everyday bag). I'm beyond excited!!! Anyone have any advice for a newbie on maintenance (maybe I should do a search because there's probably already threads on that)?
maybe! but the sizes are a little different if you compare the two. the $795 is a bit bigger I think.
