Watching the Tower of London series on channel 5 and the penultimate episode this series covered the Queens death and funeral I’m still crying
I watch "Inside the Tower of London" too - I really enjoy it and it's a great series celebrating our tradition and history. The loyalty and respect of those who work there (mainly ex-servicemen/servicewomen as Beefeaters) is second to none. I've just watched the same episode and it was very sad . I found comfort knowing that over a thousand years of history is in their good hands...

I adore this series it’s an amazing behind the scenes of a community I knew nothing about now I feel I know everyone of them and their devotion to the Queen was so clear

This is my fear too will the woke brigade be happy if this garbage kills the poor old lady ? Disgusting treatment - knee jerk reaction condemned before she could put her side of the alleged misdemeanour

It would be an incredibly poor choice to do so, in my mind. Her behaviour should not be condoned. It wasn’t the lady next door behaving in such a way, it was a Lady on behalf of BP.

And I find the whole “her husband only had one leg - she can’t be a racist!” argument bizarre. Who knows if she is a racist or not. But she made someone extremely uncomfortable by violating their space and insisting that they weren’t British. Time to graciously leave her station.

Yes, a Lady working on behalf of BP at a UN event with 4 other monarchies represented as well as the First Lady of Ukraine. BP was required to know who was in attendance. Security is important these days. Someone refusing to answer simple questions is a huge cause for concern.

So, Fulani should go, too. She did not represent her charity well, so donations will be down. The people who get hurt are the very ones who need help. Very sad these charity directors cannot do their jobs properly. Imo.

ETA:

Notice how Fulani says she was invited to speak on DV. No, her job was to send 2 of her volunteers to honor their commitment. Big difference. Again, time for her to go, too.

No it isn’t. Someone not answering a lady in waiting’s questions is not a security incident. She isn’t a member of the security team.

And, remember, she DID answer the questions. Just not in the way that the lady, based upon her inappropriate assumptions, wanted her to. That’s the point.

We will clearly see differently and I don’t intend to argue but I see Someone set out to cause trouble - and refusing to answer security questions from someone there to protect the Royals- name badges must be clearly displayed etc no violation of space or person
