Hey thanks I am waiting to see them so you seem to be great fan of Ashley ha?
You must post some of your photos too let me see how much you have copied Ashley in looks , or you just wanted to copy her rings style?
You must be beautiful as you have such a good taste as my mom use to say only beautiful girls have good taste about jewelries.
:lawl: I am going crazy to see your collection.

I showed my girlfriend the picture of Ashley and said I'd like to see her try something like that and she agreed, so we went shopping and this isn't the best picture but here's an idea of what it looks like with the rings I bought for her that she picked out. I really like her new look and she does too - she used to only wear one ring on each hand! I also bought her some bracelets to go with the rings.

about how much did you pay for that ring.. its so unique.

i got a really cute butterfly ring on ebay a looong time ago. if i get a chance.. i will post some pics. i paid like 150.00 for it.

i think it was custom. it looks like a wide yellow gold wedding band that someone decided to soder on a white gold diamond butterfly.
The turtle ring was about $300. The butterfly ring you describe sounds pretty! I'd like to see it if you get the chance to upload pix! :)

I think that this thread is changing my mind about wearing lots of rings together.....gives me ideas!!!!

I do think that we can pull it off, if done in the right size and styles for each individual......

My girlfriend wasn't sure she could pull it off, and we spent a lot of time trying to figure out what really looks good together. We still haven't found something for her one pinky finger, but are leaning towards some kind of signet style ring and may have to special order something and get it engraved. We are also looking at giving her some options so she doesn't wear the same rings every day.

She really likes looking at herself in the mirror from a distance, seeing how it looks from say 10 feet away. She finally got the courage to go to work wearing all her new rings (she is a legal secretary) and all she got was compliments. Some of the other women she works with are thinking about trying it out too - and they never thought of doing so before. I always found it a turnon for me personally, and was hoping to find someone who I could get to do this, at least once in awhile on special occasions. My girlfriend was a bit skeptical at first and never thought she'd feel comfortable going out in public or to her job like that, but she's changed her mind completely. Of course, she has good looking hands, and it very much depends on ones hands if they can pull it off, in my opinion

For an alternative look, I want to buy her a bunch of different size plain sterling silver bands and just fill up her hands with them, and think it would look really great. So that's what I mean in giving her options, if she wants a bit of a less bold look but still wants to wear rings on every finger. I'm thinking a really big band or several on her middle finger, and then smaller ones on the other fingers although big ones on her thumbs. Right now she's not wearing any thumb rings - with this set of rings we thought that would be a bit overboard.

Most of the rings we bought her were fairly cheap - but some of the rings on her right hand which aren't as visible in this picture were more expensive (I had to crop a picture I took of her to just show her hands and she's unwilling to just let me take a picture of her hands flat on the table - so this is just a picture of her standing with her hands in front of her and highly cropped).

We are looking at something fairly expensive for her one pinky finger - what we are looking at in terms of a high quality sterling silver engraved signet ring, or else we may get a white gold one which would be more expensive (but appears to look nicer) and might be a good contrast against the sterling silver. Not sure of that yet, but it is something I'm leaning to and may go ahead and splurge, as so far I'm really happy with the results of this money I've spent on my girlfriend's new jewelry.

If anyone else pursues this I'd be interested in seeing pictures to give me some more ideas - as I want my girlfriend to have a bunch of different sets of rings to wear, so she doesn't have to wear the same ones day in and day out, and have different "looks" for different occaisions. perhaps. I'm really looking for her to have something for a more formal and elegant look all the way to a really bold daring look for going out to clubs and the like.

I do like Ashley's look...maybe not in the same boldness, but more muted would be nice....it can look chic and different but I couldnt personally do the big rings, especially for layering like that....

Thanks for the ideas!!!!
