Here is a pic next to my chalk regular Rogue. Definitely a big size and weight difference. I knew it was soooo much lighter just from picking up the box from my doorstep.
Measurements are:
10" long x 8" high (measuring bottom to top of front) and 5" deep (measuring bottom, which has feet).
What thread is the picture of your new rogue 25?Do you know I never even noticed that the handles and straps were smooth leather until now? I wonder if Nordstorm will get this bag.
In this one:What thread is the picture of your new rogue 25?
Thanks, I found it.. Very nice. Love it, but I think too small for me.
Thank you! Yes, it's def. small compared to the medium, but it's going to be a perfect spring/summer bag for me.Thanks, I found it.. Very nice. Love it, but I think too small for me.
Yes, isn't this such a comfortable purse to carry by the short handles, and I don't even like to hand carry purses, but this one I would definitely carry that way. You brought up a great point, and one I don't usually consider in that I live in Florida and rarely have to worry about wearing a coat...I agree, it may be too small to wear over your shoulder with a large winter coat. I wish this one came in cornflower...I'd get a second one in that color.Okay, here is a pic of it with my full size Brighton wallet. I'd say this is a slightly smaller wallet than a zip around. I already moved in...I am actually keeping my wallet in one of the outside compartments (it is barely noticeable), my keys, phone and work badge in the other side open pocket and then those things I don't go to as much, like my tissues, gum, cosmetic bag, etc. in the middle. Easy in and out for all the things I grab all the time.
To answer some questions...
Yes, has the two shoulder straps (I'd have preferred a longer single cross body strap but honestly doubt I'll ever carry it with anything other than the two shorter handles).
Is it worth the price...if I compare the mini Boroughs which ran around $300, I'd say probably...would it be easier if it were $500 and not almost $600...yes, of course. However, the quality of the leather, the suede interior, the top notch hardware and just the craftsmanship I believe makes it justifiable (and I love me some Boroughs, trust me!). And don't forget, this bag is 5" deep which is a heck of a lot deeper than the small Boroughs.
Yes, I believe I am keeping my medium chalk one. The look of it strikes me every time I see it. And, for those days when I want to carry more than the essentials, this will do it.
I'm curious if, in the long term, this will be an all year bag for me. I'm thinking no...it may look a tad too small when in a big puffer jacket...but for now, this is my daily driver...I don't care for the forest color (if the pictures we've seen are accurate) and although there have been comments that black is available if an SA looks it up, my SA, who is THE BEST, can't find any details on it other than TBD. Time will tell...it's really not "officially" released yet...even the flagship stores haven't gotten any in stock (or "in the back") which is unusual. I guess they are sticking to the 5/1 official release date for on-site and in-store. Maybe more colors will be available then.
I have been a long time lover of the Borough bag and was sorely disappointed when they decided to kill it off. IMO, this is the redesign of that bag...
I'll get back to you on that in a few days...my Fog Saddle is some tough competition!Yes, isn't this such a comfortable purse to carry by the short handles, and I don't even like to hand carry purses, but this one I would definitely carry that way. Do you like this as well as your saddle bags?

Hi, many thanks for all the great information and wonderful pictures - so kind and helpful! Also, congratulations, the Saddle is beautiful! I'm so pleased to hear the 25 is much lighter in weight than the medium.
I thought I'd let you (and the Rogue gang) know that I just called JAX and ordered the Black Rogue 25! My order confirmation is showing the color as BPBLK... so, we'll see. I didn't think they would really have it, but I guess April 13th was the magic date when they updated their system. I opted for 2-3 business day shipping, so it might not reach me until early next week. I'll post pictures when it arrives (unless someone else reveals a black 25 first, which I'd be very happy to see).
Also, I agree with you on the Borough. I missed out on it entirely (the sizes/weights/prices didn't quite suit me) but I need pockets!!
