Resellers getting Chanel items first and selling for premium

I mean.... I don't think every boutique has a black classic flap available for sale all the time. But if you look in the boutique stock thread they are constantly popping up, and if you put in minimal effort you can get one. I think this person thinks her followers are dumb and is trying to shift the heat that resellers have been getting off herself.

Taty is just justifying the “hype” or hoard she caused. I would not listen to her. The flaps are available in boutiques as it pops time to time

Block chain or not but how as a buyer will you know if the bag is authentic?
I know authenticity card and sticker are not means of authentication but they are 2 important ones!

If you have an iPhone, Chanel (if they so choose) could allow you to scan it with your iPhones NFC (like Apple Pay, in reverse). The tag in the bag would get sent to Chanel and let you know it’s origin. The technology is already there. Resellers could show a video of themselves scanning the tag, and you could do it in person as well / once you get the bag.

Yes, super fakes are out there, including super fakes of authenticity cards.

Since I work in tech, I think in the long run this will make it harder to fake bags, not easier.

Agree. Especially bags online by the time you get to scanning it’s too late. I’m curious if chanel would even help confirm bags bought from resellers.

It would be an app you would download, no need to go to a store

I’ve seen this person on fb and her prices are ridiculous. She sold the business affinity in caramel for $5200! I can’t imaging paying that much for a BA. She also has a lot of the popular bags and even multiples of them. A lot of regular people have turned into “resellers” now and I can’t stand it

Yes she used to be reasonable and when there was criticism, whether because she knows about these tpf threads or people were actually directly calling her out, she would mention God and only he can judge or something along those lines. I rolled my eyes so hard I almost hurt myself when I read that. Then I unfollowed her. A lot of her intel is from the same SA’s that others post here already anyway.
