Resellers getting Chanel items first and selling for premium

So looks like chip is already in place

Not sure if blockchain means our data is bind to the bag at purchase... suddenly I have tons of questions...

Do you think this will snuff out resellers? What about people who want to sell the bags years later? Can it be scanned through the screen? Can the tag be cut out? If someone brought preowned and bringn to boutique to scan will it affect purchase history/data with chanel? (ie. Chanel finding out I've sold the bag) Will it make pre-chipped bags worth even more? The bags with no chip would be more heavily circulated in the resale rather than the new ones with chips. The new ones with chips would definitely be at a H resale premium since it marks the start of us having to jump hoops :panic:we are put on the 12/year limit, have to purchase RTW/jewellery, have a relationship with SA etc in order to buy.

Wouldn't the inclusion of blockchain simply make it easier for resellers to prove their bags are legit? How it works is that the chips are a lot harder to hack ( as you can just make an authenticity card ). A chip requires you to know certain information that only Chanel knows, so someone can just bring their bag into the store and scan it. While the card is more tangible, the chip is more secure.

Block chain or not but how as a buyer will you know if the bag is authentic?
I know authenticity card and sticker are not means of authentication but they are 2 important ones!

there are super fakes out there !
Am not sure how authentication services are going to catch up as well !

Curious what the ig stories were about. I never followed her on Instagram but I used to watch her videos since I thought she had a very soothing voice and found her review/comparison videos quite informative. However a few things eventually put me off from her: her frequent returns (I understand returning something due to actual quality issue, but she often buys things that are not her style and returns them because it “didn’t work out“ for her. This happened with an LV purse that her SA advised she might not like, she bought it anyway and changed her mind, obviously. With how picky she is, I assume she’d be the type to dislike buying returned items new from the boutique so that is just bad taste to me. I also believe she’s now selling bags to followers, i.e. the mermaid Chanel WOC) + her curating her collection/being at purse peace with a YouTube account to keep up with is essentially a joke (she started to unbox a new item every few videos).
This I think hello catwalk city’s true colors eventually showed. She buys , asks people if she keeps, for her YT content. When she actually knows the answer. Aside from “projecting to be minimalist” before her popularity and now jumping to bandwagon and all she does is unboxing left and right. The essence of her goals is dwindling down. And it all boils to this: buying Unicorn and selling them for profit down the road.
