Resellers getting Chanel items first and selling for premium

This kind of price gouging is what gives the ethical personal shoppers a bad name. This is person just lost her main IG account for the 3rd time in the last year. But not unlike others she has a backup.
This is not only unethical, it’s likely illegal in the state she resides.
The thing that sucks is that I thought she was actually a nice person with good ethics. This certainly tells me otherwise.

$9500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What in the world?!! Who is this?! Please PM and I will be happy to report.

Thank you! I followed this but within minutes got a notification that the they do not violate the terms/conditions so accounts are still up. Any idea why that happens when clearly they are price gouging?

I got a similar notification just now although they did mention they aren’t able to remove it “at this time”. So hopefully they will seriously look into it the more reports they get. Each report counts at this point.

As I have mentioned before...I have a small Rose Clair. Super cute...Not at all worth $9K. Not worth $8K...not $7K...just NO!

Is this from the FB group? Would you mind sharing who this is? I used to be in a number of FB groups but recently left because all the antics just turned me off.

I wonder how LV manages to maintain some exclusivity. Of course their reputation was badly damaged in the 2000s-2010s but they’ve gotten some of it back through the focus on leather bags. They sell online and manage exclusivity (admittedly the least exclusive of high end designers tho). So does Dior. Hermes does non-quota bags online. So I wonder why Chanel can’t figure something out. Even though LV bags are online they’re usually “sold out” so it’s not like anyone can buy a bunch of bags all the time.
Im guessing LV stores customer’s credit card information so the customer is only able to purchase a certain amount of bags all at once so they dont buy all in bulk at the same time and still maintain their exclusivity?
Also, Producing exclusive quality products means having new ideas every time. The company founder and all who followed his footsteps believe in limited editions series. The founder detested common designs; he created a specific design for a short term sell. Meaning everyone will receive unique bags and eliminating the same model or same bag idea—the brand produced in small and unique numbers making quick revenue.

Just saw what she posted on her backup account’s My Story :hrmm:
She posted “No one except God can stop me from working on what I love to do.”

She’s also moving to Telegram app so her eggs are not all in one basket.

how do we report resellers who buy multiples of the same bag in every collection??? Customer care number? it is different in every country right? I feel I must do something:biggrin: too challenging to get things these days

We recall this conversation clearly and feel this screenshot is highly misleading as your enquiry was not related to current, hard-to-find seasonal release items, nor is it related to this thread.

As seasoned resellers, we locate pieces that our trusted clients cannot obtain, whether it be new or preloved. Indeed, some boutiques don’t bring in certain releases.

At the time of the above conversation, we had a long list of clients around the world looking for the Classic line Trendy CC in brand new condition. In order to fulfil the long waitlist we were able to bring in 10 pieces from Europe and Asia, sourced through legitimate personal shoppers to cater to our clients’ orders.

Whilst it is unfortunate that USA and Canada is sold out - we had no involvement in the buyout situation in your country.

This screenshot is very misleading.
does that mean you have involved in a buy out situation in Australia then?

Look at this “personal shopper” finally admitting she’s a reseller

this reseller is disgusting always bragging about how many unicorn bags she able to obtain and selling at Premium and she's from Singapore. I hope someone report her.

I just got off the phone with Chanel to make a complaint and the lady who I spoke to said to email [email protected] . I think emailing and reporting all the resellers and personal shoppers there is the best route. They will forward the complaint to the appropriate department.
Chanel, not unlike other companies has what they call an anti-diversion department that falls under the legal group. That’s who to report it to. The anti-diversion group is a global oversee group.
Every company has one. It’s all about control of supply chain.

Only if these resellers actually buy the items. If private people buy and consign then you'll be on a witch hunt as new resellers would pop up. Not nice if you're trying to hurt small businesses who just wants to make a living, even if it is reselling/a consignment business. Please evaluate the real problem and who is involved before rallying everyone together to take down people's pages who run an honest and legitimate business.

You are part of the PROBLEM. Stop defending your pathetic occupation and questionable means of exploiting Chanel's very limited supply by charging astronomical markups.
