It’s so frustrating seeing people are crazy enough to spend that much over retail. Not only does it encourage resellers to keep doing what they do because of the sizable profit they make, but they encourage Chanel to do price increases. If Chanel sees people are buying their bags 4k over retail then of course they’ll think increasing prices are justified. Their customers have already shown them what they’re willing to pay.
All it would take to end resellers would be for people to refuse to use them for one or two seasons. They would be in such a hole financially they’d have to sell their bags close to retail to break even and would be more hesitant to buy 10 of the same bag moving forward.
Heart bags for almost 10k! Wow! I mean I can see why. It’s not something that’s been done for decades (Atleast 3). And most stores are only getting less than 5.

When I purchased in Dubai they said they needed to create a new profile for me because they couldn’t see my usual US profile. So if resellers are sourcing in multiple countries or regions then I believe it…SAs def can’t see everything they’re buying
