I don't get why someone would want a picture of a full bag though. If I ever get around to posting pics on here, if someone wants to steal, hey, no skin off my nose.

They steal pics to use on ebay. They bait and switch people using our photos.

I think a few posts were pushing it, and while it may be your "personal property," it's not like it's seriously identified or anything. IMO, if you don't want to bother, then just don't, and you don't need to go into a discusion of why.

My first degree is in marketing, and running around a college campus asking people for something ruins the results because you're talking about just going for students that are available. You really do need a larger sample than that (students, working women, young, old...etc.).

I don't think any of us were out of line.

He has asked total strangers to give him pics of their personal property.

People here have expressed that they do not want to and why.

He's persisting.

I worked for ten years at a private university. Trust me, if this is a real project, it would be very easy for him to get plenty of girls on campus to open up their bags and take a pic. Heck, that part of the project could have been done already with minimal effort. AND he would be able to get the info he would need for a legit project. Info that would not be safe for us to give.

I'm a little astonished that I was chastised for this opinion.
