Besides.....why would I want to "steal" pics? I'm lost on that one.

Part of the class project involves how organized and prepared some women can be in relationship to the type of bags they carry....i.e large totes, shoulder...etc..But we need candid pcitures. No cheating of totaly organizing and cleaning the bag. Just open it up and snap.
I didnt make the comparison up, a classmate/ project team member did.
Rest assured.
Just post the pics here if ya want.

Scammers troll forums like these for pics of authentic bags. They use them in their auction. Then, they send the winning bidder a fake bag in the mail if they send anything at all. By the time the winning bidder gets the fake or realizes they've been had, the scammer has emptied their PayPal account and disappeared.

Here's a thought.

Instead of US doing all the work FOR you...why don't you take your camera....talk to women you know, walk around campus, etc....and TAKE YOUR OWN PICS?

It is YOUR project, after all! Why don't YOU do the work?

We're not doing your "project" for you. And we're not making pics of our bags available.

I don't think any of us were out of line.

He has asked total strangers to give him pics of their personal property.

People here have expressed that they do not want to and why.

He's persisting.

I worked for ten years at a private university. Trust me, if this is a real project, it would be very easy for him to get plenty of girls on campus to open up their bags and take a pic. Heck, that part of the project could have been done already with minimal effort. AND he would be able to get the info he would need for a legit project. Info that would not be safe for us to give.

I'm a little astonished that I was chastised for this opinion.

I agree that it sounds like a potential scam, but he could legitimately be a student working on a project. I'd like to know the username of his girlfriend, and have her pipe up to confirm the story. I realize that can be faked, too, but if his GF has been on here more than a week and has more than 1 post under her belt I think we could probably trust them. Just an idea.

This types of threads are always interesting and fun. Are we sure this is not another type of psycological study of how women behave, that some type of weirdo is doing? I know, I always have crazy ideas. Just ignore the request and have fun!!
