Replicas rant

I thought they are banned from large platforms like Amazon eBay unless they have no branding etc? That's terrible :( omg that poor thing so delusional! Maybe she knows and just claims she gets it from such and such site to make it sound legit. It's sad that me buying online I still have to ask the seller if it's authentic just do I have a record of them saying it is because I've heard of people getting caught out with sellers saying they never claim it was authentic eventhough the price point is what you would expect on authentic pieces
Yes, it is against Amazon and eBay's TOS to sell fakes. However, people find ways around it and unless they're reported, nothing happens.

As for the superfakes on YouTube, they're proof that fakes have stepped up their game. I remember when fakes were super obvious. A lot still are. However, I have the feeling that a lot of bags that look real are probably fakes. C'est la vie. I guess ultimately you just have to enjoy your bags and enjoy life.

Yes they have definitely step up the fake game. I even came across a replica bag collection the other day :( like a whole collection of fake bags ugh. It’s just ironic how people who post luxury bag collections get bagged (literally) for wasting money or bragging and the family must have money etc etc and then these fake bags collection gets met with omg it’s so beautiful looks so real where you get it etc and they accused people who speak out as snobbish and claim luxury brands are no different because they contribute to slavery human trafficking terrorism.

I even got a PM recently on here asking where I got my replica Chanel... and advocating a replica site.

A. I don’t own any Chanel, never have
B. I don’t own any replicas

I deleted the message while in hindsight I probably should have reported them.
It’s spam really. And who needs more spam? Replicas are everywhere...

Oh really? That’s so strange! You’d think if they want to market it at least send it to the right target. Lots of YouTube comments have random people vouching for different sites for replicas too. Makes me wonder if they’re scams really.

I wonder if you can report those videos to youtube...if youtube stops monetizing those videos (as youtube loves to do), maybe people will stop producing it. No income, no videos.

Yea I wonder that too!! I guess it is up to the brands because technically these people are promoting the sale of things that infringe on their rights! Inspired yes maybe but these are exact copies!! With brand stamping logo and fake receipts like come on!

Honestly, I'd rather they focus on taking down all the obvious dog fighting & animal abuse videos.
But don't see that coming soon either.

Omg I have never seen that on YouTube and never would want to! Will make me so angry :(

I just liked a post on likeittoknowit and it took me to Amazon for fake Louis Vuitton. When I went back to the blogger, most of her posts included one of these bags or Gucci belts etc. Then I wrote the blogger AND Amber Venz and they never wrote back. Silently endorsing fake products. So disappointing.

Honestly, those counterfeiters are getting better. I saw an LV speedy posted on fb and it realy looks legit in my eyes except for the date code and you have to be familiar with the font to know. Wow i was shocked. The fakes Ive seen years ago are blatant fake. You can tell right away. I dont buy fake because I had one before ( when I couldnt afford) and it broke apart despite being careful. So I said never again.

I unknowingly bought a replica Dior scarf from Amazon. I wanted a bandeau to cover the handles on my Rebecca Minkoff bag. When I received it, i thought it was really pretty. Upon closer inspection, I saw the CD. Then, I saw where it said Dior. I did a google search, and lo and behold, I found it. It’s a few seasons old so it took me a while to find it, but there it was.

I’m not sure how this vendors get away with it. You can’t even see the branding on the pictures on the site. Once you starting searching, there is a plethora of replicas on the site some of which are Prime eligible! It’s quite shocking-Hermes, Gucci, LV, Dior...

I first started dipping my toes into designer handbags in 2013 - late bloomer here. I had no idea what I was doing, where to go, who the design houses were. I knew nothing about nothing, just that I wanted to explore. The first handbag that I bought was a super fake. I had no idea that this was a bad thing until I got a clue and started doing my homework. I still like that super fake handbag, but it is still a fake and I don't pretend that it is a real handbag. No guilt feelings because I didn't know any better at the time.

Absolutely agree w/Amazon selling everything. I was looking for a generic evening clutch a few weeks ago and every page thereafter had designer replicas all over my pages. It's not something you have to even look around to find, every single designer replica is available right through Amazon prime. It's shocking to see they promote it so openly.

Yes and before you know it every second person will have a ‘chanel’ bag lol. Sad thing is because there is huge demand for it in the western market
