Replaced handles but ...

Hi All,
Need your expert advise to this trivial issue. My preloved Horizontal B. looks funny with brand new handles while the rest of the vachette leather trim is of one shade darker. Can/Should I do anything to season the handles? Thank you !!

Maybe "season" is not the correct word .. Should I do anything so that the new handles and the rest of the vachetta look alike in tone ..

I was told that in a few weeks a virgin vachetta would start to tab

You can try to sun bath the handle and cover the whole body.
This will help the patina process fast..

Put Apple Leather Conditioner
It will make the vachetta a little bit even with the rest of the leather trims

I'd leave it by a window when not in use. The brand new vachetta will patina faster than the trim that's already patina-ed to a point.

have you tried using a cream (Apple or LMB.) I know these are known to protect vachetta...etc... however, I believe LMB cream texture also slightly darkens a brand new vachetta.

how was did it cost to have the handles replaced?

I thought that sun-tanning the whole bag would cause the older vachetta to yellow even further and the difference would still remain ?
